This is 1 of the better blogs in the area of educational activity. I could not agree more that Tiger has the right to “plead the fifth” in this matter, even though IMO I feel he is doing so to either hide the fact that he was under the influence or there may have been a domestic dispute involving a physical altercation. Both crimes make me sick to my stomach but that’s the law. However, that right to keep silent is in place so as to not incriminate yourself of any wrongdoing. As is the case with almost every other celebrity or politician has done the very same thing when found in an embarrassing situation, Tiger has, by not saying anything, said quite a bit.

It’s up to us to draw our own conclusions what happened that night. Tiger certainly leaves the door open for plenty of speculation & unfortunately for his wife, she may have some real soul searching ahead when it comes to husband & his actions.

I love your blog, but here you are off-base. Tiger is not [acting] “above the law.” He is completely within the law and is using his rights to invoke the Fifth Amendment and choosing not to talk to the police.
The police have little recourse if he continues not to talk to them. They may try to get a warrant, but that needs probable cause of a crime. Good luck with that.
His attorney should agree with Tiger invoking his rights.

You know this broad only married him for his money so naturally if he is having an affair (with someone else who wants his money) she feels threatened. After all she has a lot invested in this “enterprise.”

Would any of us get away with refusing to talk to police like he did? I doubt it.

I remember his statement, “I am not perfect”. Well, no one living on earth is. However, why doesn’t he just tell what has happened. Then everyone will say, that happens to lots people, so just go on with you life. NO, he doesn’t want anyone to know exactly what happened. When everyone knows the truth, they will just forget it anyway, just like all other problems the rich and famous have had.
