So slick, modern and futuristic. My local news weather guy here in Austin has been saying "twenty ten". Rachel Maddow has been saying "two thousand ten" on her show. But really, the issue has already been decided for us by the Vancouver Olympic Committee. Since they have settled on the "twenty ten" branding for the games, and since those games are broadcast all over the world and accompanied by a year-long advertising blitz that is completely unavoidable, by the end of 2010, very, very few people will still be sticking with "two thousand ten" after hearing "the twenty ten winter olympic games" so many thousands of times. “Twenty Ten” sounds great.
