A Note About Sponsored Content

Sponsored Content on Mediaite is separate and distinct from our editorial content, and as such is kept in a separate archive, at www.mediaite.com/sponsored. The only place on the site where it appears amongst other content is on the front page, where it is distinguishable from editorial content by being labeled as “Sponsored Content” at the byline. It does not appear within any of the editorial streams at TV, Online or Print.

One of the services we offer to our sponsors is the option to create sponsored content for them in the Mediaite voice. Once that request is made, Mediaite’s editorial team comes up with the concept, which is sent to the sponsor for approval. The editorial team treats it as it would any editorial concept, and executes it in accordance with our opinion, sensibility and sense of humor.  The final version is then posted. We are happy to offer this service to our sponsors. Dan Abrams does not write any of the sponsored content.
