O’Reilly Invites 50 Cent On The Factor In Response To War With Laura Ingraham
It’s been about a whole month since Bill O’Reilly picked a fight with a rapper, perhaps prompted by the fact that others have picked up the mantle. Among them is Laura Ingraham, who has been doing yeoman’s work in calling out Chris Brown for his corrosive influence on American culture. He and his friends (which he apparently has) have struck back, and in response O’Reilly extended an open invitation to Brown and 50 Cent to debate their stances.
Laura Ingraham Enters Into Twitter Battle With Chris Brown, 50 Cent, And Their Fans
Last week, Laura Ingraham appeared on The Today Show to promote her new book, Of Thee I Zing, which deals in part on the destruction of our culture (a topic that’s been good for books for as long as there’s been culture…and books). While there, she gave a couple of examples she’d seen which included a man watching porn on an airplane (for the hundredth time, Laura, it was a long flight and I’m sorry) and the musicians that Today itself had booked for their summer concert series. A few days later, after R&B singer Chris Brown, perhaps better known for the whole brutally beating up Rihanna thing, performed on the show, Ingraham took he and Today to task which has now led to a heated Twitter fight between she, Brown, the rapper 50 Cent, and their fans.
Remembering A Decade Of Bill O’Reilly Hip-Hop Feuds
Remember, early on in this innocent decade, when it was a big deal when Bill O’Reilly started criticizing rap music? Now, it seems to happen all the time. For someone opposed to the immorality and hedonism that he sees embraced in rap lyrics, O’Reilly knows how to start a hip-hop-style feud with some of the big names in the industry, including Ludacris, Nas, and Cam’ron. Eight notable beefs between O’Reilly and rappers, starting off with Ludacris (semi-NSFW):
