Dispatches From The New Yorker Festival

This past weekend, Mediaite contributor Jasmine Moy took in the New Yorker Festival, one of the city’s hottest cultural tickets every fall, usually featuring very smart people sitting in chairs on stage, talking thoughtfully about smart things, for longer than five minutes and without interruption. Why is there so little of that on the telly? Andy Borowitz is hilarious. He has always been, of course, but now I get him in front of my face every day, cracking me up via his hi-larious Twitter feed (examples: “Airlines to Charge Passengers $50 for First Bomb” and “I just realized that Bush probably thinks the last decade was awesome”). I think he’s awesome, which is why I’m so delighted that he sat for our very first New Yecade installment of 5QQ – Five Quick Questions.

That’s what I did this morning as I flew back home from Toronto (and boy are my arms tired! Wa-wa) – and as I found myself making mental notes to retweet a few when on the ground, I thought, why not a group retweet?
