Returning to TV the day after both she and her preferred presidential candidate took the stage at CPAC, Ann Coulter stopped by Fox & Friends this morning to discuss the recent Rick Santorum mini-surge and her conviction that Mitt Romney must be the next president. She also fended off the now-usual criticism of Romney as a moderate by pointing out his stances on immigration and why being tough with illegal immigrants was of vital importance: “if we lose on that issue, the entire country will become California and no Republican will ever win an national election.”

Ann Coulter lit into Newt Gingrich on Glenn Beck‘s GBTV program Thursday, lambasting the Republican hopeful as “pompous and boring” and taking issue with doodlings he had drawn back in the 1990s. According to Slate’s Jacob Weinberg, “these notes and doodles, handwritten by Newt Gingrich, appear in a series of exhibits appended to a report published on Jan. 17, 1997 by the House Select Committee on Ethics.”

Ann Coulter is getting pretty tired of Newt Gingrich. Coulter appeared on The O’Reilly Factor tonight to discuss Gingrich’s rise (and her candidate, Mitt Romney‘s, decline) and went straight for the strategy that has been most successful for the former Speaker: attacking the media. Calling it “abusing a real issue,” Coulter provided a fiery defense to the reporters Gingrich had attacked and likened his frivolous attacks on the liberal media to Jesse Jackson talking about racism.

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter stopped by Fox and Friends Sunday morning and gave a spirited analysis of Newt Gingrich‘s decisive victory over Mitt Romney in the South Carolina primary. “Apparently, South Carolinians would rather have the emotional satisfaction of a snotty remark toward the president than to beat Obama in the fall,” Coulter zinged.

CNN contributor and Editor-in-Chief of Big Journalism Dana Loesch took a lot of flak over the weekend for her declaration of solidarity with the four Marines who videotaped themselves urinating on the corpses of alleged Taliban fighters, in which she said “I’d drop trou and do it too.”

Countdown host Keith Olbermann and liberal watchdog Media Matters, among others, have called for CNN to fire Loesch over the remark, and according to Big Journalism, even Politico is in on the act.

One of the biggest risks of making a bold prediction and later having to walk it back is that it takes several episodes of confrontation to live it down. This is probably the third or fourth appearance in which Ann Coulter has tried to explain how she went from predicting a sure loss for Republicans under nominee Mitt Romney to fully endorsing him, and explaining that she now sees President Obama’s “glass jaw” exposed.

On The O’Reilly Factor tonight, Ann Coulter did not mince words when dissecting Newt Gingrich‘s views on executive power and directly challenging the authority of Supreme Court justices by potentially having them subpoenaed under a Gingrich presidency. She argued that the frontrunner candidate has a history of making over-the-top, bombastic statements that only ever end up hurting the conservative cause.

Ann Coulter is making the case for Mitt Romney as the most electable Republican candidate in the current 2012 field (after her calls for New Jersey Gov. Ann Coulter made a rare appearance on MSNBC today, and, well, the insults were rolling fast and loose, and not escaping the censors. Coulter visited Joy Behar tonight to review her experience there and clarify what exactly she called Sen. John McCain that merited bleeping: “I said ‘dickweed,’ I thought you could say that!”

Ann Coulter made a hot mess of her Morning Joe appearance today, launching verbal assaults at late Sen. Ted Kennedy and Sen. John McCain, one of which was censored by the show, but neither of which prompted any real-time reaction from host Joe Scarborough. With today being the first time weekly media criticism program Fox News Watch got to discuss it, the top of the program was devoted to the Herman Cain sexual harassment scandal. After going through the more bizarre elements of the story– the fact that, despite 50 stories on it in Politico, no one has any details; the seemingly botched response from the campaign– they turned to the commentary on the story, and neither Judith Miller nor Alan Colmes had anything positive to say about Ann Coulter taking the opportunity to tout the superiority of “our blacks” this week.

Whoopi Goldberg went after Ann Coulter and her provocative statement that “our blacks are better than their blacks” on The View Thursday. “I didn’t know we were anybody’s blacks!” Goldberg exclaimed. “My God, I thought I was free but damn it! I found out again, somebody’s got my behind!”

On Wednesday night’s The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart issued a rebuttal against Ann Coulter for recent, controversial comments regarding the superiority of black Republicans over black Democrats.
