The smart editorial minds behind Newsweek seem to have a keen understanding of both the current zeitgeist and the future of magazines. This is perhaps best evidenced by the following video recap of Lost, as told through the eyes of staffers who have never seen the show. Excitement and confusion, all rolled into one — brillz content, indeed. Oh, and thank you Newsweek, for finally showing us what the future of magazines look like — basic cable television!

This was not the best year ever. And I’m not even talking about the economy being a mess.  I’m talking about the fact that VH1’s Best Week Ever may have paid tribute to pop culture news for the final time.
