Bill Maher: People Don’t Like Romney “Not Because He’s Rich, It’s How He Got Rich’
Mitt Romney’s capitalist ventures have been the subject of much scrutiny of late, and in his final New Rule of the night, Bill Maher piled on, explaining such criticism was not anti-capitalist, but was more of a reaction to how Romney attained his wealth. He compared old photos of Henry Ford, Walt Disney, and Steve Jobs with their early creations to the infamous picture of Romney and his business partners with money pouring out of their suits. Maher joked they appeared to be part of a production of “Snow White and the Seven F**k-Faces.”
Chris Wallace Confronts Pro-Gingrich Super PAC Spokesman About Gingrich’s Ties To Equity Firm
The Winning Our Future Super PAC is responsible for the new 28-minute infomercial/attack ad focused on Mitt Romney‘s career at the private equity firm Bain Capital, and this particular PAC just happens to be a pro-Newt Gingrich organization. Gingrich has been on the offensive against Romney, targeting his “vulture capitalism,” as Rick Perry phrased it. On Fox News Sunday today, a spokesman for Winning Out Future was questioned by Chris Wallace about Gingrich’s past ties to that very same industry.
Rush Limbaugh Declares War On Frank Luntz’s Attempt To Replace ‘Capitalism’ With ‘Economic Freedom’
At a meeting of the Republican Governor’s Association this week, pollster and strategist Frank Luntz made a bold admission: that he was “frightened to death” of Occupy Wall Street, and suggested their influence had made the term “capitalism” toxic and it should be replaced with “economic freedom.” One person not content to follow those instructions? Rush Limbaugh, who chastised Luntz for “dumb[ing] down” the conservative message for a movement that was “about disbanded.”
Rush Limbaugh Recounts ‘The True Story Of Thanksgiving, Or, How Socialism Almost Killed The Pilgrims’
“Time for the traditional, true story of Thanksgiving,” Rush Limbaugh announced. “Written by me!” In other words: TIME FOR A MOTHERF$%#ING TREAT!
Limbaugh recounted the story of religious separatists who journeyed to the New World in search of the freedom to worship as they saw fit without fear of persecution. They faced many challenges and hardships in their new home, but eventually benefited from agricultural practices shared by local Indians.
Michael Moore Caves, Admits To Being Part Of The 1%
Last Tuesday, communist* filmmaker Michael Moore made a very bizarre declaration on Piers Morgan Tonight: despite being an Academy Award-winning filmmaker, he refused to claim he was part of the “1%,” a number used to dehumanize the top tier of America’s breadwinners. With his disdain for the higher classes so public, he wrote a blog post on his website explaining how he got there and what distinguishes him: unlike many of his peers, he was dedicated to making money off of labor, and not money off of money.
Herman Cain: Occupy Wall Street Was Organized To Distract From Obama’s Failed Policies
On Face the Nation today, presidential candidate Herman Cain questioned the legitimacy of the Occupy Wall Street protests and whether they were, as many people believe, a grassroots movement to stand up against the financial sector, or a way of distracting from President Obama’s economic policies. Bob Schieffer played a clip of Cain saying that harboring anger at fellow Americans for being unsuccessful is anti-American.
Is Former Rep. Alan Grayson Eric Bolling’s Most Difficult Guest To Interview Yet?
Remember former Congressman Alan Grayson? Grayson quickly become one of the most well-known freshman representatives for his brash style and unabashedly liberal politics, but couldn’t survive his first reelection bid last November. He now occasionally pops up on television– like this latest appearance this week on Follow the Money, where Grayson did everything he could to act dismissive and annoyed at host Eric Bolling for challenging his politics.
