Rep. Weiner’s Office Calls Police On CBS 2′s Marcia Kramer For Requesting Interview
After a very long day of direct questions and more than one indirect answer, Rep. Anthony Weiner, who initially said he wouldn’t let the burgeoning Twitter scandal now known as “Weinergate” to take its toll on him, has declared a moratorium on interview requests. While one may expect him to do so by simply releasing a press release, his office actually called the police on one intrepid CBS reporter to make its point.

If there’s one thing that the media likes, it’s investigating trends with cutesy names: “freegans,” cougars,” “sexting,” and now, “cankles.” Designer Christian Louboutin set off a firestorm when he told WWD that Barbie’s ankles are “too fat.” Insensitive comment, there may have been a language barrier, etc. But it went on and on.
