Conservative author and blogger Andrew Sullivan announced over the weekend that he is leaving TheAtlantic.com, where he writes his “Daily Dish” blog, to join the Tina Brown-helmed Daily Beast / Newsweek merger.

News of violent protests in Tehran, Iran have reignited the Twitter movement #iranelection, which many point to as a defining moment for the 140-character service during highly contested elections last summer.
