First on Mediaite: Carlos Watson, anchor of MSNBC’s 11 a.m. weekday show, “Live with Carlos Watson,” has been given the axe. MSNBC spokesperson Alana Russo confirmed that yes, Watson’s hour had been canceled; he will, however, remain a contributor with MSNBC.

Why was he canceled? Is anyone else getting the axe? Who will take over the slot?

Dr. Nancy Takes Sharp Turn Right, Laments “Fractionization Of Our Native Tongue”

As cable news continues to cover the uprising during town hall meetings and the general feeling of discontent among many on the right, segments begin to drift in various, tangential, directions.

One of those occurred during Morning Meeting with Dylan Ratigan on MSNBC, when Ratigan led a panel discussing the rise of right wing militias. On his panel was his fellow host, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, who changed the topic to “language” – and seemed to indicate she thinks everything would be better if English was our “core language.”
