Dr. Phil: Casey Anthony’s Mother Believes Brain Tumor To Blame For Her Daughter’s Behavior
Dr. Phil recently sat down with Casey Anthony‘s parents, Cindy and George, in order to try to gain some sort of insight into what they were thinking leading up to their daughter’s trial. How, Phil wanted to know, does one go from having a supposedly happy, healthy childhood to reportedly burying one’s own daughter in the dirt instead of reporting her death? He shared one bombshell with HLN’s Joy Behar.
Apparently, Anthony’s mother believes her daughter’s actions may be the result of a brain tumor. She reveals Casey suffered a seizure in 2007, and another about a year and a half later. Dr. Phil followed up by asking whether any medical tests were done on Anthony that may have revealed the existence of a tumor. The answer? “Not then.”
More Backlash: David Letterman Considers Banning Trump For His ‘Racist’ Comments
David Letterman and his guest Dr. Phil discussed Donald Trump‘s recent allegations that Barack Obama was admitted into Ivy League schools despite being a very poor student. Letterman joined many other media personalities who have criticized Trump’s suggestion as being racist, though Dr. Phil defended Trump, saying that he’s “not a racist.” Letterman made then, perhaps the deepest cut, when he openly considered not inviting Trump back on his show until he apologizes.
Dan Abrams Freezes Hand Trying To Beat Woman At ‘Enduring Pain’ On Dr. Phil Show
Dan Abrams, whom you might recognize as the founder of this very site, visited the Dr. Phil Show to promote his latest book, Man Down. He was joined by a fellow male (Boo!), comedian Kirk Fox, and two female comedians, Kate Rigg and Kathleen Madigan, in order to test a theory often associated with the fairer sex: Women, it seems, have a higher threshold for pain. Or do we?
Remember That Golden Voiced Homeless Guy? His First Post-Rehab Interview Comes Out OK
Ted Williams recently appeared on CBS’ Early Show to discuss where he is in terms of his recovery – he called entering rehab a “rushed decision” and said he “felt scripted” while at the facility – as well as the ways his instant fame affected him.
Gossip Cop Confirms: “Golden Voiced” Ted Williams Heading To Rehab
Ted Williams, the homeless man who found fame and various job offers after a video of him using his radio-friendly voice made the rounds on the internet, has been on something of an emotional roller coaster the past few weeks, culminating in a trip to rehab to address his dependency on alcohol.
Larry King’s Sign-Off Speech: “You’re Not Gonna See Me Go Away”
Not many people can get two Presidents of the United States, Ryan Seacrest, Dr. Phil, Barbara Walters, Donald Trump, and Brian Williams, among others, one program, but tonight, Larry King pulled it off for the final Larry King Live of the program’s 25-year run…and closed his last show by thanking everyone who helped make it happen.

So what will Oprah Winfrey‘s OWN–set to launch January first–look like? The Oprah Winfrey Network released a sneak peak video today, and it contains a lot of familiar faces from Oprah’s long-running daytime TV show, including Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz.
The details are still mostly under wraps, with only tiny tidbits being hinted at in the 72-second teaser video. Oprah says “this is it,” and Sarah, Duchess of York says “it’s great… it’s exciting to be part of OWN.”
“Rumor Fix?” Dr. Phil’s Son To Launch Gossip Cop Knock Off Site
In what may be one of the most awkward names since the launch of Mediaite.com, Mediaite has learned that Jay McGraw, son of Dr. Phil, is preparing to launch Rumorfix.com, a site whose mission sounds eerily similar to our cousin site GossipCop.com (Mediaite founder Dan Abrams also co-founded Gossip Cop). Mcgraw has teamed up with television producer Richard Ayoub to create the site which they call the “anti-tabloid.”

David Letterman: Jay Leno Got What “He Deserved”
As a former psychologist, Dr. Phil knows exactly how to get people to open up and talk. He knows how to key in on the one subject that will allow his patient to open up the emotional floodgates and really let use. Last night, he used this ability while guesting on the Late Show. He smartly brought up the one thing guaranteed to get an entertaining rant out of David Letterman, everyone’s favorite squeaky-voiced punching bag, Jay Leno. As the Huffington Post reported, Letterman did not disappoint.
Politico Columnist Wants Pres. Obama to Stop Telling Her to Eat Her Veggies
Politico’s Carol Lee chronicled today the increasing desire among Washington elites to stop being told what to do. Apparently President Obama has struck a negative cord with his constant advice on eating, saving money and protecting the environment. In fact, his badgering has become so irritating, trite, and ubiquitous that Lee calls him a “very powerful Dr. Phil.”
