This adage is perhaps what Sarah Palin had in mind when, as Governor of Alaska, she apparently encouraged people to use her personal email address instead of her official one because “everyone and their mother will be able to read emails that arrive via that state address.”

Steve Gutowski, reporter for Newsbusters and proprietor of the website TheCollegePolitico.com, got some good news in his email yesterday: He’d earned a White House press credential! The strange part is, Gutowski says he not only never requested credentials to the event, he’s never even emailed the White House before.
