Former John Edwards aide and faux-baby-daddy-for-hire Andrew Young was handed a relatively stiff sentence today, as a judge ordered he and his wife to be jailed for contempt for up to 75 days. At issue is Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones’ suspicion that the Youngs have failed to turn over all copies of an alleged sex tape featuring Edwards and mistress Rielle Hunter.

Well there’s no tricky language here – just a blatantly racist comment by radio host Rush Limbaugh, using a play on words between embattled former Rep. Eric Massa and the offensive slang term “massuh.”

You know, don’t say we didn’t warn you. The Washington Post just reported that former Rep. Eric Massa is actually under investigation by a House ethics committee for allegations that he groped multiple male staffers, and that the allegations date back at least a year. Will the Glenn Beck show go on?

At today’s White House press conference, Robert Gibbs was asked about Rahm Emanuel‘s unique lobbying style (au naturel) to Eric Massa, D-NY, who left office yesterday amidst an ethics inquiry over possible sexual misconduct. Gibbs was also asked to further explain the administration’s position on Massa’s claims that his decision to step down is a result of a conspiracy by the DNC to push him out. There seems to be a growing revolt on the right over Glenn Beck’s decision to devote the entire hour of his show tonight to former congressman Eric Massa. Michelle Malkin, who appeared on Beck’s radio show today, may be leading the charge.

While Glenn Beck is getting ready for his game-changing interview with Eric Massa tomorrow (who, if you haven’t heard, once took a shower with Rahm Emanuel), Geraldo Rivera and Ann Coulter spent last Saturday night predicting this whole mess by giving the New York Congressman a new nickname after he allegedly harassed a male staffer.

Word went out earlier today that (now former) Congressman Eric Massa would be a guest on Beck’s powerhouse show for the full hour tomorrow. Tonight we got a bit of a preview of the tone that interview is likely to take. Eric Massa’s ‘moment’ may decide the fate of the nation.

It is not a good week for Democrats in Congress…first there was Charlie Rangel last night, now New York Rep. Eric Massa claims he will not be seeking reelection on the advice of his doctor after a recurrence of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But that may not be all there is to the story, since Massa made his announcement today directly after blogs began to report that the House Ethics Committee received allegations that Massa was sexually harassing a male staffer.
