Ann Coulter: ‘Conservatives Should Be Celebrating’ Romney, ‘Most Conservative [Candidate] Left’
Ann Coulter has spent much of the recent turn of the Republican campaign out and about campaigning for Mitt Romney, and today she took her mission to Hannity, where she even had a story about confronting Romney himself and warning him to be “as right wing as I tell everyone you will be.”
Romney To Hannity: ‘I Misspoke’ About Not Being Concerned About The Very Poor
In an interview Thursday with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Mitt Romney expressed regret for telling CNN’s Soledad O’Brien that he was “not concerned about the very poor.” “I misspoke,” Romney acknowledged. I wish I wouldn’t have said it that way. I made the same thought part of my speeches over the last year or two, which is that I’m really concerned about middle-income Americans. I want to help middle-income Americans. I want to get people out of poverty, into the middle-income category.”
Sarah Palin Denounces GOP ‘Viciousness’: ‘Enough Is Enough With The Lies About Newt Gingrich’
Sarah Palin was fairly busy over the weekend, writing an extensive post calling out Republican “Stalinesque” “cannibalism,” reappropriating the term “Rage Against the Machine” for Newt Gingrich, and all but endorsing the former House Speaker. On tonight’s Hannity, Palin continued to abstain from an official endorsement, but demanded of Republicans a vigorous nomination process that would guarantee a win for a “big dog” that could take down President Obama.
Krauthammer: From His Perspective, Newt Gingrich ‘Is Like Custer In Little Big Horn’
Charles Krauthammer reviewed the performances of the Republican candidates during Thursday’s CNN debate last night, discussing the issue with Sean Hannity. He did not find that either Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich won the debate, however, instead giving that credit to Rick Santorum, who he noted attacked Romney more efficiently on health care than anyone had before. He did note of Gingrich, however, that he was not fighting personal animus from Republicans, but the fear that he was vulnerable, even if he thought he was General Custer.
Sarah Palin: ‘If I Had To Vote In South Carolina, I Would Vote For Newt’
Appearing on Fox News’ Hannity, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed Newt Gingrich — but only in South Carolina’s primary, to keep the Republican nomination race going. “If I had to vote in South Carolina, in order to keep this thing going, I’d vote for Newt and I would want this to continue,” Palin opined.
Sarah Palin Rips Michelle Obama: ‘Are We Just A Bunch Of Numbskulls?’
Appearing on Fox News’s Hannity, Sarah Palin reacted in disgust to a clip from Gayle King‘s interview with First Lady Michelle Obama, where she said Americans were “confused” about how much had been accomplished by the President. “Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord — what are we just a bunch of numbskulls out here in the heartland of America?” Palin exclaimed incredulously.
Hannity Challenges Rick Perry On Romney Attacks: ‘It Sounds Like Occupy Wall Street’
Rick Perry had an indisputably rough night in New Hampshire. In fact, tonight, his eyes were entirely on South Carolina, and, on Hannity tonight, he didn’t even bother to talk about New Hampshire. But his night got worse as Sean Hannity challenged him on his claims that Mitt Romney was a “vulture capitalist”– going so far as to claim that Perry sounded like a member of Occupy Wall Street.
Herman Cain Keeps 999 Alive By Announcing ‘Cain’s Revolution Solution’ Bus Tour
Herman Cain may have been the second 2012 Republican candidate to drop out of the race (after Tim Pawlenty), and he may be forgotten in some respects, but he sure isn’t gone. In fact, Herman Cain may be coming to a town near you before you even know it! Cain appeared on tonight’s Hannity to handicap the race post-Iowa (and yes, he wishes he could have been there) but, more importantly, he had an important announcement to make: he bought himself a bus.
Santorum Gives Non-Denial Denial On Alleged ‘Black People’ Comment: ‘I Condemn All Racism’
Earlier today, Rick Santorum answered a question at an Iowa campaign event where it sounded like he said he didn’t want to “make black people’s lives better” with “other people’s money.” It didn’t quite sound like he said “black people,” but it also didn’t sound like he said anything else, either, and so many media outlets went with it. On Hannity tonight, host Sean Hannity gave him a chance to clarify. Santorum didn’t flat out deny the comment, but decried any form of racism, and cited his work with black Republicans as proof it wasn’t like him to say something like that.
Rick Santorum Accepts Alan Colmes’ Apology: ‘I Know Alan Is A Very Good Person At Heart’
Earlier today, Alan Colmes made headlines by making an unseemly comment about Rick Santorum– namely, about his child who died hours after being born. Colmes let his Twitter followers know that he did his part to apologize to Santorum, and the latter responded to that apology on air today with Sean Hannity, explaining his actions with his child and his acceptance of Colmes’ apology.
Fox News’ Andy Levy On Bill Maher’s Tebow ‘Joke’: ‘Who Cares?’
Earlier in the day, the cast of The Five made a fairly convincing case for caring about Bill Maher tweeting gross things about Tim Tebow and his religion over the weekend. On tonight’s Hannity, Andy Levy (typically of Red Eye) providing a fairly weighty counterpoint on the same issue: Maher, he suggested was “not a politician, he’s not running for office… who cares?”
Dick Morris: Ron Paul Is ‘By Far The Most Liberal’ 2012 Republican Candidate
As today is considered a holiday for most workplaces, it has been a rather slow news day– which hasn’t proved very good for commentary on Rep. Ron Paul. As the frontrunner, he got much of the criticism today, with tonight’s Hannity providing Dick Morris calling Rep. Paul the most “liberal” of all the Republican candidates, universally dismissed as a “nut.”
Hannity Panel On GOP Field: ‘Not A Lot Of Talent’, But ‘Wildly Entertaining’
With the rise of Rep. Ron Paul in Iowa throwing the entire Republican 2012 field once again for a loop– and new polls showing Mitt Romney virtually tied with President Obama should he win the nomination, the vulnerability of the incumbent President is a question on everyone’s minds, particularly against any specific candidate rather than “generic Republican.” On tonight’s “Great American Panel” on Hannity, the panel (led by guest host Monica Crowley) evaluated the chances of a strong Republican general election, despite the “scorched earth” campaigns going on today.
Sean Hannity Confronts Ann Coulter With Her Anti-Romney Comments From Last Year
Ann Coulter is making the case for Mitt Romney as the most electable Republican candidate in the current 2012 field (after her calls for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to get into the race fell on deaf ears), and tonight on Hannity she had to explain what had changed in a year, since she asserted before an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference that a Romney nomination would be a sure loss. “I now think Obama has a glass jaw,” she told Sean Hannity, explaining that even beyond Romney, she would vote for any Republican over the incumbent.
Bob Beckel Makes A Scathing Christian Case Against Tim Tebow On Hannity
Football player Tim Tebow found himself the center of tonight’s conversation on Hannity‘s Great American Panel, but despite his football and Christian credentials– both things that make him a positive figure in Sean Hannity‘s eyes– he did not escape getting a tongue-lashing from someone in the panel: Bob Beckel, who found the conflation of faith and football “despicable.”
Donald Trump Reviews His Day In The News: ‘I’m A Ratings Machine,” Gingrich Is A ‘Rocket Ship’
The sudden return of Donald Trump to the top of the news cycle has had him spending most of the day on television, yelling at Chuck Todd in the morning and planning to “apprentice” children with Newt Gingrich in the afternoon. He ended the day with Sean Hannity, discussing his meeting with Gingrich and shooting down critics arguing he should not be moderating a debate.
Newt Gingrich: GOP Primary May Turn Out To Be Newt Vs. Not Newt
Newly annointed GOP presidential frontrunner Newt Gingrich sat down for a lengthy interview with host Sean Hannity and bloviated about all things Newt, and his seemingly Newtastic presidential campaign. When asked if he still saw the GOP primary race as “Mitt vs not-Mitt,” as he had previously proclaimed, Gingrich corrected himself by suggesting that it may very well turn out to be “Newt and not-Newt” vying for the nod.
Sean Hannity Confronts Russell Simmons On Calling Him ‘More Gangsta’ Than Snoop Dogg
Tonight’s Hannity boasted a fairly special interview, and one of those rare occurrences where two people who disagree on most everything about politics can get together and debate passionately without lacking in warmth. The guest? Russell Simmons, rap mogul turned Occupy Wall Street sympathizer who came on the program to argue the merits of the movement to a skeptical Hannity, and wound up trying to defend a comment that Hannity was “more gangsta” than Snoop Dogg.
Rick Perry: ‘Lazy’ Remark Reveals That Obama ‘Grew Up In A Privileged Way’
On Fox News’ Hannity program last night, Texas Gov. Rick Perry explained his newest attack ad against President Obama, which falsely accuses the President of saying that “Americans are lazy.”
Perry told host Sean Hannity that he thought the President’s remark “reveals to me that he grew up in a privileged way,” and that “he never had to really work for anything.”
Ann Coulter: GOP Picking ‘The Most Right Wing Candidate’ In Primary Is ‘Suicidal’
Ann Coulter‘s visit to Hannity today was, like many of her appearances, mainly to agree with and expand upon a point made by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie– this time, that electability was crucial in choosing a Republican candidate to face off against President Obama, and that the general election won’t be easy. Speaking to host Sean Hannity, Coulter argued that, while a Ronald Reagan candidate could guarantee a victory, “Ronald Reagan is not available this year,” and so Mitt Romney was the most suited to challenge the President in a debate.
Andy Levy Accuses Ann Coulter Of Playing The ‘Race Card’ In Tense Red Eye Clip
Yesterday night, during Red Eye‘s Halloween show, Andy Levy and Ann Coulter got in a heated argument after he accused her of playing “the race card” in response to the Herman Cain sexual harassment allegations. If you need proof of how at odds the two were, you can look at the simple fact that, despite there being a woman in a zombie costume standing behind Levy the entire time, none of the suspense was coming from her.
Sean Hannity Is Scandalized At Mutual Masturbation And Bestiality In NYC’s Sex Ed Class
The New York City school district is getting ready to revamp their sexual education programs, and Sean Hannity could not believe his eyes when he read what they would teach. On his program tonight, he warned parents that the compulsory class would teach “oral sex and mutual masturbation,” “porn stars, vibrators, and bestiality,” and a whole lot more, and examined the merits of this education with his panel.
Sean Hannity Pushes Ron Paul To Explain Comment That Hannity Was A ‘Statist’
Rep. Ron Paul appears to be getting along with conservative stalwart Sean Hannity much better this time around than during the last election, when his supporters chased Hannity down a street and pelted him with snowballs. And while the two agree plenty on economic policy and the size of government, Hannity had a bone to pick with the libertarian icon tonight– namely bringing up comments Rep. Paul made elsewhere that his own rise to prominence would be “an embarrassment” to the comparatively liberal Hannity.
Ann Coulter To Hannity: People Should Look At Wall Street Protesters With ‘Hilarity And Revulsion’
Ann Coulter is no fan of Occupy Wall Street, and she has been vocal about her opposition. On Hannity last night, she reiterated the thesis of her latest book, Demonic, in which she called left-wing mobs violent and evil by nature, noted the Occupy Wall Street rallies fit the bill perfectly, and assured America that the students protesting there are only from “bush-league schools… none of these kids are coming from places like Yale.”
Coulter Gives Up, Endorses Mitt Romney: ‘You’ve Got To Go With What You Have’
Ann Coulter is holding her nose and voting for Mitt Romney. After spending several months of the primary warning that Romney was a loser who would mean certain defeat for the Republicans, Coulter announced her support for a Romney/Cain 2012 ticket on Hannity last night, noting that Romney had been “magnificent” in debates and “you’ve got to go with what you have,” but sounding far more enthusiastic about a Chris Christie 2020 campaign.
