Perez Hilton is ‘reporting‘ that the National Enquirer is ‘reporting’ (I can’t find anything on their site so it may only be in the print version) that Levi Johnston may (may!) have impregnated his ex-girlfriend while he and Bristol Palin were separated.

Seems like Palin family something-in-law Levi Johnston isn’t going to wait for that reality TV show to make some money for his new family. The teenage father is starring in an R&B music video with singer Brittani Senser, a heart-wrenching tale of teenage love torn asunder by a nosy mother-in-law– wait, really?

Now that Levi Johnston has reunited with Bristol Palin and they’re headed for marital and reality TV bliss, his life is really changing.

Apparently Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are more interesting on the printed page than they are in reality. Reality TV that is. The New York Post is reporting that the newly reunited “young adults” were paid $100,000 for last week’s bombshell US Weekly cover story, though the magazine is denying the amount is accurate.

Sarah Palin has issued a statement regarding this morning’s announcement — on the cover of US Weekly — that her daughter Bristol is now engaged to be married to Levi Johnston, mother of their son Tripp.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are planning on getting married – or so reports US Weekly. The exclusive report in the celebrity gossip weekly confirms rumors that have been swirling for the past few weeks. The intrigue in this story doesn’t come only from reuniting of Tripp’s parents, but from Bristol’s following quote regarding her mother’s approval “It is intimidating and scary just to think about what her reaction is going to be. Hopefully she will jump on board.”

The life and times of Sarah Palin are about to get the middle school library treatment. Christian book publisher Zondervan is planning to add the former Alaska governor to their childhood biography series meant to feature role models “motivated primarily by their Christian faith,” announcing the release of “Speaking Up: The Sarah Palin Story” planned for September.

It’s been a good couple of months since Wasilla’s most eligible bachelor (or not!) Levi Johnston has been in the news, so naturally, the publicity genius waiting for the day after the July 4th holiday to drop a bombshell on the American media: an apology. Johnston confessed exclusively to People magazine that some of his allegations against would-be mother-in-law Sarah Palin were, shockingly, “not completely true.”

Andrew Sullivan, who I think may pay even more attention to the family von Palin than even Joe McGinniss, thinks readers should take the latest tabloid report on the rekindling of Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston’s romance “with a grain of salt…along with all other information about the Palin famille.”

There appears to be a tempest in a teapot media showdown brewing in Wasilla, Alaska. Ever since Joe McGinniss moved in next door to Sarah Palin — the subject of his upcoming investigative book — certain circles have been debating whether as a journalist he is within his rights or overstepping them. Thus far the two camps have fallen on fairly predictable battle lines. Subsequently, it will likely not surprise anyone that Andrew Sullivan is on team McGinniss.

An internet violation is not the only mess from 2008 that Sarah Palin has not yet been able to clean up. The Palins woke up to a blog post this morning by Mercede Johnston, Levi Johnston‘s sister and aunt to Sarah’s nephew, Tripp, who accuses the Palins of keeping the baby away from his father’s side of the family.

Yesterday an Alaskan judge forced the custody battle between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston to go public. Up until now the court case, filed by Bristol Palin back in November in order to obtain sole custody of Tripp Johnston-Palin has been closed to the public. This did not sit well with Levi Johnston who apparently suspects Sarah Palin of some underhanded behavior.

Joy Behar continued her string of news-making guests since her HLN show’s launch (Bill Maher, Ann Coulter, Joe the Plumber, Orly Taitz to name a few), adding Levi Johnston to the list last night.

While he stayed fairly quiet on new Sarah Palin info, he did talk about being a “gay icon” – and revealed more upcoming Playgirl pics.

When Oprah asked Sarah Palin about Levi Johnston’s Playgirl shoot, she said, “I call it porn.” But is it? The NSFW pictures prove that the pictures don’t include any frontal nudity. The pictures of the 19-year old are no more explicit than what you’d see on an episode of Nip/Tuck and less (homo)erotic than an Ultimate Fight Championship match. But they’re sort of sad.

News about Sarah Palin‘s much-anticipated memoir is slowly trickling out. The AP has apparently got its hands on an early copy and can confirm some of the rumors: it was not smooth sailing between Palin and McCain’s campaign staff; Palin still harbors some ill-will towards Katie Couric. But there’s also a new one.

In much the same way he had done for Sarah Palin‘s speech in July, William Shatner appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien Wednesday night to do a dramatic reading of an almost-member of Palin’s family: Levi Johnston.
