The release of 20-year-old Bristol Palin‘s new memoir, Not Afraid of Life, has gotten tongues wagging about everything from how exactly she conceived her child to just how much she got along with the McCain family during the 2008 campaign. During an interview with Sean Hannity tonight, the new author chatted about why she wrote a book and the experiences that have shaped her since becoming a household name.

Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska governor and current Fox News contributor Sarah Palin, is coming out with a book, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, in which she details the various reasons she dislikes various people. First up: Meghan McCain.

Meghan McCain has finally come clean of her interactions on Twitter with Rep. Anthony Weiner, all of which were public and completely appropriate. McCain is one of the last people to be cited by name in his Twitter feed during the scandal, as she had kind words for the Congressman in the press. Her latest Daily Beast column may have severed that mutual respect, however, as she confesses she no longer follows him to preserve her mother’s peace of mind.

Comedian Michael Ian Black has undertaken a brand new project: Writing a book about politics with none other than Meghan McCain. Yeah, I know, right? Apparently, the liberal comic and the Republican pundit are friends, essentially acting as the human equivalent of Pan-Kun and James.

Meghan McCain stopped by and chatted with Jay Leno last night to talk about her dating life and appearing “naked” in a PSA for skin cancer. Leno brought up Glenn Beck‘s much criticized response to the commercial and McCain took on Beck, with much approval from the studio audience.

Just last week, Glenn Beck joked about being physically ill after seeing Meghan McCain appear to be naked in a PSA. Instantly, the country erupted into outrage with even Beck’s friends distancing themselves from the comment. Yesterday, Beck repeated the same exact fake-vomit joke after looking at a picture of Mildred “Patty” Baena, the mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s child born out of wedlock. Beck’s radio co-hosts warned him against going down that road as he started making comments but he did it anyway. And, then, a funny thing happened…no one said a thing.

Glenn Beck has gotten nothing but tongue-lashings for his recent theatrical vomiting at the mention of Meghan McCain‘s body, and he ended the week with one final slap on the wrist from colleague Bill O’Reilly. While Beck tried to justify his behavior compared to the controversial comments made by rapper Common, O’Reilly had none of it and commended McCain’s mother, Cindy, for striking back at Beck.

Whatever you think about Glenn Beck or Meghan McCain, it’d be pretty hard to find someone who thinks the Fox News host’s vomit-jokes about McCain’s skin cancer PSA was a good PR move. Even Don Imus, who considers Beck a “buddy,” said today that he would “have a word” with the guy on the subject. If they do discuss it, Beck should listen to Imus. He’s a person who knows a lot about the trouble one can get into for dissing a young woman’s personal appearance on the radio.

Meghan McCain took part in a PSA promoting awareness of the dangers of skin cancer. The provocative video features all of the female participants suggestively appearing naked, but the notion of a naked McCain was enough to make Glenn Beck to vomit repeatedly, in a rather sophomoric comedy bit on his radio program. Tonight, Senator John McCain was asked to opine on Beck’s reaction by CNN’s John KIng and gave a rather terse non-reply reply.

Yesterday on his radio show, Glenn Beck, perhaps a little groggy from just getting off a plane from Israel, made the incredibly ill-advised decision to spend nearly 10 minutes fake vomiting at a skin cancer PSA in which Meghan McCain pretends to be nude. Cindy McCain quickly defended her daughter on Twitter and now Meghan herself has responded in her latest Daily Beast column. The title really says it all; “Shut Up About My Body, Glenn Beck.”

Last night on The Last Word, Meghan McCain became the latest person to impugn Sarah Palin’s hunting abilities. McCain explained that, while she had never killed an animal before, she had done her fair share of shooting. Ha! Clearly the woman is a GOINO. You know, Gun Owner In Name Only.

Despite her thinly veiled protestations, Sarah Palin clearly wants the world to see her as a future presidential candidate for 2012. This was the lead topic today on America Live as host Megyn Kelly had on as guest Meghan McCain, daughter of John McCain, Palin’s former running mate and political ally. When pressed to opine on Palin’s presidential hype, McCain did her best to hide her disdain before questioning why the future leader of the country is doing on a reality show, echoing similar thoughts made by Karl Rove.

Meghan McCain just provided a nice, bloggy, shot in the arm to today’s Sunday show line-up. McCain was a panelist on today’s This Week roundtable (along with Terry Moran, Matthew Dowd, and a sort of skeptical-looking George Will) and she did not pull any punches when it came to voicing her opinion on Christine O’Donnell and the Tea Party movement. Actually, she called O’Donnell a ‘nutjob.’

Sarah Palin ruined Meghan McCain‘s book tour. In a piece on the Daily Beast today McCain reveals that her entire book tour to promote her memoir Dirty Sexy Politics about the 2008 campaign was “haunted” by the specter of Palin.
