Tuesday morning, Fox & Friends welcomed Ms. Brown — a computer-generated, glasses-wearing candy — on the show as a guest, to talk about the history of M&M’s and basically plug the candy in what amounted to a three-minute commercial. A terrible, awkward three-minute commercial.

Chris Matthews is really losing his patience with the response to the BP Gulf of Mexico oil leak. While the early days of the oil leak saw Matthews’ anger directed mostly toward Dick Cheney and former FEMA director Michael Brown‘s cameo appearance in the news, he is now turning on the Obama administration, calling it “impotent” and demanding the know why Congress could not break the cozy relationship between overseers and oil companies.

Last night, something unexpected happened: MMS started working on my iPhone — two weeks ahead of AT&T’s announced release date for the feature. The long-awaited feature — available for years on lower-end phones — was made possible by Apple with the release of iPhone OS 3.0. And now it’s finally here.
