CNN’s Kathleen Parker On “Raunchy” Navy Videos: “That’s Hostile”

CNN’s Kathleen Parker, co-host of Parker Spitzer, weighed in on the unfolding controversy over a series of “raunchy” shipboard videos shown to the crew of the Navy aircraft carrier U.S.S. Enterprise. The videos, produced by then-executive officer and now Navy Capt. Owen Honors, have been described as sexist and homophobic, leading the Navy to begin an investigation of the captain, who may not deploy with his ship when it sails to the Arabian Sea later this month.

Capt. Owen Honors, the commander of the aircraft carrier Enterprise discovered to have produced and acted in weird homophobic videos for the ship’s “movie night” has been temporarily relieved of his duties as captain, effective immediately. He will not be traveling with the ship to Afghanistan.

Okay, we get that some left-leaning members of the MSM are (rightfully!) pissed at Eric Massa for using the Democratic Party’s shortcomings as a sort of scape-goat for his own alleged sexual misconduct, but MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell took it over the line tonight on Countdown when he set out to use the stories some of Massa’s former Navy-mates to find out if those tickle-fights and “Massa Massages” were pro-the-course on the high seas.
