Olbermann Offers Limited Coverage Of Republican Election Victory
It’s been less than two days since the first election under the Obama administration, and Countdown host Keith Olbermann has been curiously absent from the airwaves. Given that MSNBC touts itself as “the place for politics,” and that this is arguably the biggest political event of the year, it would seem to be a loss for MSNBC to lose its star anchor for the night of, and after, election results come in. In fact, Olbermann’s absence has given fuel to his critics on the right who have simply claimed that he didn’t like the results.
