palin_11.29.11 Video

Titled “The Challenge,” the ad includes footage of Palin denouncing the “crony capitalism” running rampant in our country’s “permanent political class.”

Lawrence O’Donnell Makes Levi Johnston Read A Shower Scene From His Book

johnston_9.22.11-316x237 Video

For some reason (probably because Palin’s PAC has kicked into high gear), Lawrence O’Donnell invited Sarah Palin‘s almost-former-son-in-law Levi Johnston onto his show yet again to discuss his sexual sexy sextastic book, Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs.

In his book, Johnston quotes Sarah Palin as saying she hated her job as Governor of Alaska because she would have rather been making money instead — a sentiment that O’Donnell believes is paramount in her decision to make people think she is a viable political candidate who merits time and attention in the national spotlight.

New McClatchy-Marist Poll Has Bad News For Barack Obama, Good News For Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin

Perhaps Sarah Palin will rethink her stance on polls and/or poles after taking a look at the results of a recent one. A new McClatchy-Marist poll of 1,042 adults shows Barack Obama losing ground to Republicans, with 49 percent of respondents saying that they definitely plan to vote for someone other than the President. With many speculating that Independent voters can make or break Obama’s chances of spending a second term in the White House, it’s also worth noting that, 53 percent of Independents said they also definitely plan on voting against Obama. In addition, voters in general — by a margin 52 percent to 38 percent — think he’ll lose to any given Republican nominee, a sentiment echoed by a sizable 31 percent of Democrat respondents.

Sarah_Palin_9.2.11

Republican voters may be loving Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry right now, but, if a recent Fox News poll is anything to go by, they don’t feel the same way about Sarah Palin.

The poll, conducted “under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R)” — shows that Republican voters (including the Tea Party members within the fold) do not feel that John McCain’s former running mate should make a bid for the presidential nomination.

Karl Rove On Who He Thinks Will Consider Joining GOP Field: Palin, Christie And…Paul Ryan?

rove_8.16.11 Video

Karl Rove appeared on Hannity last night to give his take on the GOP candidate field so far. Host Sean Hannity kicked things off by summarizing what’s been going on in Iowa and playing a clip of what can aptly be described as presidential hopeful Mitt Romney‘s stand-up act in New Hampshire (the “anointed one,” as Hannity referred to him, being the butt of Romney’s jokes). Then, Rove dove right in.

rickles_bristol_p_7.15.11 Video

Bristol Palin‘s appearance on The Tonight Show started off with a bang, with Palin poking fun at host Jay Leno‘s signature feature — his chin — after he subtly asked her about her new, surgically enhanced visage. But it was Leno’s other guest, Don Rickles, who really got the party going, as Don Rickles is wont to do. A word of warning: Don’t invite this guy to your bachelorette party unless you’re prepared to do something regrettable involving an inflatable alligator.

Sarah Palin Is Losing Favor With GOP And Independent Voters New Poll Reports

palin_point

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll has just been released, and the results are not particularly encouraging for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin with regards to a potential bid in the 2012 presidential race. The poll suggests that that less than 6 off 10 “Republicans and GOP-leaning independents see Palin in a favorable light,” throwing cold water on any speculation that Palin is the presumptive GOP nominee (though there is certainly plenty of time for public opinion to change.)

Oprah was a lot less open, however, when it came to expressing her opinion of another polarizing political figure: Sarah Palin.
