Charlie Sheen Says That CBS Should Apologize While “Licking My Feet”

The meltdown that is Charlie Sheen has spawned a series of interviews, from NBC’s TODAY to ABC’s GMA and RadarOnline. And every interview delivers a new, awful headline. In a talk with RadarOnline.com’s Dylan Howard, Sheen talks about comments made by his father, Martin Sheen, comparing addiction to cancer. “Jeez, dad… shut it,” Sheen says, proceeding to go on to call cancer patients mother****ers. “Okay, Pop walk through a cancer ward right now and find any of those mother****ers who look like me.”

On TODAY, Sheen told Jeff Rossen his at-home rehab was effective, describing his home as “Sober Valley Lodge,” and saying the lodge’s primary patient “achieved radical success.” As for CBS, which shut down production on the hit sitcom for the year, Sheen says the network is trying to destroy him and his family, but “they picked a fight with a warlock.” Sheen, who told CBS “we’re at war,” did say he’d return, but “it’s three mil an episode, take it or leave it.”

Sheen says “defeat is not an option,” since “that’s how I roll.” Does he owe CBS an apology? “No, they owe me one. A big one. While licking my feet.”

Dan Abrams: Mel Gibson’s Tapes Are “Probably” Admissible In A Court Of Law

Thanks to the website RadarOnline, tapes of Mel Gibson berating his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have now become public. While the audio of the actor are undeniable evidence of Gibson’s troubled mind, there is legitimate question as to whether or not they are admissible in a court of law, which is particularly germane given that Gibson’s camp has recently claimed that the audio files have in some way been manipulated. NBC’s Chief Legal Analyst (and Mediaite founder) Dan Abrams appeared on Today this morning to provide his legal expertise on the tapes.

RadarOnline has released new audio of Mel Gibson ranting and threatening violence to Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his 8 month-old child. This is the third such audio, which reveals more name calling and racially insensitive terminology (the first two can be listened to here and here.)Not much to say about this audio as it sadly, sort of speaks for itself.

RadarOnline has released new audio of Mel Gibson ranting and threatening violence to Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his 8 month-old child. To say that the actor/auteur sounds aggrieved in the following clip would be an understatement in the largest scale, as Gibson repeatedly threatens to “come over there” in the most threatening way imaginable. Again, it now seems impossible for Gibson to resurrect any sort of career after this most damning evidence has been revealed.

The Misleading Coverage Of David Letterman’s Extortion Case

Based on the coverage David Letterman‘s alleged love life is getting these days you’d be forgiven for concluding that Letterman wasn’t the victim of a $2 million extortion plot — which he chose to reveal himself, to both the police and a national television audience — but the subject of an undercover investigation or sexual harassment lawsuit. In the past three days the tabloids have done a fairly successful job painting the late night host as a lecherous, randy comic who preys on innocent staffers. Today we find out he keeps a a fold-out couch and a kitchen in his office! Oh the humanity.

Let’s just take it back a step, shall we? Here’s a few things to perhaps keep in mind amidst all this ‘sextortion’. One, Letterman didn’t actually get married until last March. Two, and this is arguably the most important point, thus far not one of the women staffers allegedly involved with him have stepped forward now, or at any point in the past, to suggest that they were in any shape or form harassed. In fact, according to the NYT “CBS executives did quietly seek and receive assurances that none of the women Mr. Letterman was talking about were under age and that no woman who was involved with him had felt threatened about her job.” This fact alone would strongly suggest that what we actually seem to talking about here, in terms of Dave’s alleged love life, is simply case of consensual sex between a powerful man and the women who worked around him. Wow right? A jaw dropper. Of course, you’d have to dig through some pretty blaring headlines to reach that conclusion.
