Local News Reporter Confuses Co-Workers By Drenching Himself During Hot Weather Liveshot
It’s a rule of course in local news that when weather strikes, reporters must be sent out to endure it–and the more visibly they can suffer, the better. Hence reporters in rainstorms, blizzards and heatwaves. So WNYW-TV reporter Dick Brennan, being ever the good sport (I had the pleasure of working with Dick back in the day), ventured out into steamy New York City to talk to folks braving the heat in Central Park. Runners say remember to hydrate, Brennan rolls up his shirtsleeves, and then he makes a point of walking directly into a huge sprinkler, dousing himself from head to toe. Wait, what?
Fox 5 NYC Anchors Trash Snooki On Air For Rutgers Gig, Bringing Booze To Interview
Jersey Shore caricature Snooki’s newfound academic superstardom has everyone intermittently giving up on life and cursing her existence, apparently even news anchors on live TV. Good Day NY Anchors Wonder Aloud Whether Bret Michaels’ Illness Was A Hoax
Poison frontman and Celebrity Apprentice champion Bret Michaels disobeyed the doctor’s orders last week to put on an energetic performance on American Idol. For the anchors of Fox 5’s Good Day New York, his recovery from a brain hemorrhage and stroke and his not-yet-fixed heart condition was more than miraculous– it was too good to be true.
Good Day New York Anchor Would Like To Rename Soy Milk ‘Soy Jizzum’
Perhaps to combat the recent malaise in the world of hilarious newsroom profanity, Good Day New York anchor Rosanna Scotto took a perfectly innocent conversation on the real definition of the word “milk” and made the suggestion that soy milk should be renamed… well, something else.
Profanity and The City: Whitney Port’s Boss Drops F-Bomb On FOX
Following the trend of dropping the f-bomb on live morning television, Kelly Cutrone, head honchrix of fashion PR giant People’s Revolution (and Whitney Port’s boss on The City) told us how she really feels about Olivia Palermo, the reality show’s controversial villainess.
