Appearing on Hannity Tuesday night, Sarah Palin took a minute to talk about how she liked co-hosting NBC’s Today. Palin said she “had a blast” — adding that it wasn’t a “coincidence” that Katie Couric happened to be co-hosting ABC’s Good Morning America the same day.

As part of her hosting duties this morning, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin sat on the panel for “Today‘s Professionals” along with Star Jones, Donny Deutsch and Dr. Nancy Snyderman.

For all the noise Bill Maher has been making about not apologizing for his insult-laden jokes, Sarah Palin has remained mostly out of the fight, letting her daughter Bristol fight her own battle. Sean Hannity asked the original Mama Grizzly to weigh in on the matter last night, however, and she took the fight to the President for accepting Maher’s “dirty money” and for once having “mocked special needs children.”

Sarah Palin may be not all that happy with the portrayal of herself in the HBO film Game Change, but some of her colleagues on Fox News Watch admitted today that the film made them feel warmer towards her and more respectful of the very difficult challenge before her in 2008 as a recent mother and, for the most part, complete unknown– not to mention, becoming one of the leading female voices in the Republican Party almost overnight.

Meghan McCain has yet to watch HBO’s Game Change. That’s understandable. It’s tough to watch a movie based on your own dad’s struggles. I know I had a hard time watching Superman 2 (What? You didn’t know my father is the last son of Krypton? God, check my bio sometime, reader!). She has seen some of the movie’s promotions though and she is not happy with her dad’s former advisors Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt.

Bill Maher spoke with ABC’s Jake Tapper about whether there was a double standard for liberals using offensive language towards conservative women. In the interview, the HBO host responded to the criticism over his obscene remarks about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and defended calling her the c-word.”The bit I did about Palin using the word c*nt, one of the biggest laughs in my act, I did it all over the country, not one person ever registered disapproval.”

As we all know, HBO (like every television channel eveeeeeeer) is secretly working for the Democratic Party. That’s why the second season of Game of Thrones will be entirely about the attempt to bring a public health insurance option to the kingdom of Westeros (SPOILER WARNING!). It’s also why they’ve joined forces with a desperate Barack Obama in dredging up the rotting horse corpse that is Sarah Palin attacks. That, at least, is the argument Rush Limbaugh put forth today.

In a posting on Facebook, Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin took a shot at President Obama for featuring her in a new “heavily-edited” attack ad, slamming it for taking her comments out of context. “I’m not running for any office, but I’m more than happy to accept the dubious honor of being Barack Obama’s “enemy of the week” if that includes the opportunity to debate him on the issues Americans are actually concerned about,” Palin wrote. “This latest ad is quite odd, but also quite telling. It shows that our President sure seems fearful of discussing the economy, energy prices, and all the other problems people need addressed.”

The late Professor Derrick Bell, who was the first black tenured professor at Harvard Law School, has become collateral damage in a failed conservative attempt to discredit President Obama. Smeared by conservative websites, and figures like Sarah Palin, as “radical” and “racist,” and unable to speak in his own defense, Prof. Bell’s legacy now rests with those who knew him. On Monday night’s The Ed Show, the late professor’s widow Janet Dewart Bell responded to these attacks on her deceased husband.

On the tail of Game Change‘s premiere on HBO, former McCain/Palin adviser Nicolle Wallace, prominently featured in the film, visited Rachel Maddow tonight to expand upon the lessons of the 2008 campaign, and made clear that she felt fairly guilty about working to make someone “fundamentally unprepared and unsuited for the job” the Vice President of the United States.

With the Southern primaries coming up tomorrow in Alabama and Mississippi came the news from Public Policy Polling that a plurality of Republican voters there think President Obama is Muslim. This news greatly concerned Ed Schultz tonight, though in a larger national lens, and he asked guest Michael Eric Dyson whether the HBO film Game Change proved that Sarah Palin was the originator of much of the hate.

This morning, The View panel took on HBO’s “Game Change,” the film based on the bestselling book about the 2008 campaign. Joy Behar watched the movie over the weekend and talked about her surprise at seeing how unprepared Sarah Palin was for the campaign, “as are a lot of the candidates that we’ve been watching in the primary debates.”

Campaigning like it’s 2008? Amid the buzz about HBO’s Game Change, President Obama‘s re-election campaign has released an ad that features none other than Sarah Palin herself. In fact, the entire ad (entitled “Sarah Palin and the Far Right”) is centered around a clip of Palin’s remarks about racial discrimination and how the president has been influenced by radical philosophies.

Former McCain senior campaign strategist Steve Schmidt sat down with MSNBC’s Morning Joe Monday morning and spoke candidly on his role in the 2008 campaign, saying HBO’s Game Change was largely true. “I think it was very accurate,” Schmidt acknowledged and admitted he was reckless in helping pick Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential nominee. “I think the notion of Sarah Palin being President of the United States is something that frightens me, frankly.”

On Reliable Sources today, Howard Kurtz spoke to Jay Roach and Danny Strong, the director and writer of the HBO movie Game Change, and took them to task over the accuracy of the film. Since it’s a movie, obviously the film took some creative license with the story of the 2008 John McCain-Sarah Palin presidential campaign, but Kurtz challenged several of the scenes in the film and asked the filmmakers just how they were able to create dialogue for certain moments.

The biggest political event that happened yesterday wasn’t a primary, but a movie on HBO about the 2008 campaign and John McCain‘s decision to make Sarah Palin his running mate. Nicolle Wallace, one of the ’08 campaign’s top advisors, was on This Week today, and she admitted that the movie was accurate enough to make her feel uncomfortable watching it. George Stephanopoulos introduced a clip from the film where Wallace has an angry phone conversation with Palin over the infamous Katie Couric interview.

At the end of his appearance on Fox News Sunday earlier today, Senator John McCain weighed in on the HBO film that aired last night chronicling his 2008 presidential campaign and decision to choose Sarah Palin as his running mate. McCain admitted he did not see the TV movie, but based on everything he’s heard about it, he does not believe it portrays an accurate picture of the campaign. Not only did McCain say that the movie is based on a biased view of the campaign, but Ed Harris‘ portrayal of him was too salty.

There’s quite a bit of buzz about “Game Change,” the HBO film based on the 2008 McCain-Palin campaign, and SNL had Sarah Palin on to comment on the film. Except…she looked a little bit different than she usually does on the show, which may have had something to do with the fact that she was being played by Andy Samberg.
