Guys, we get it. You can stop your thousands of Tweets and your tons of emails. We understand that you’ve all be desperately waiting for a video of Bill Maher and Seth MacFarlane singing Frank Sinatra songs. We hear you and we’ve finally got what you want.

So, please, please, can you stop the deafening outcry?

Had you ever heard of a feud between Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and Daily Show host Jon Stewart? Me neither, as I also generally try to avoid anything remotely Family Guy-related whenever possible. But CNN’s Piers Morgan did a little digging into his guest’s past and learned that Stewart had once placed a rather lengthy phone call to MacFarlane, apparently very upset over a Family Guy bit that had mocked the The Daily Show‘s decision to air a new episode amid the 2008 writers’ strike.

On his show tonight, Bill Maher and panel gave Obama some praise for the killing of al-Qaeda’s Anwar al-Awlaki earlier today, but then the discussion turned to the president’s failures domestically on the economic front and how he has, as Maher argued, capitulated to Republicans at points he did not need to. The entire discussion focused around Obama’s leadership in dealing with Republicans and his lack of advocating for more liberal policies.

Rush Limbaugh will guest star as himself on this weekend’s episode of Family Guy, and as he does on just about everything, had something to say about it on his radio show today, including that he’ll bring his “usual bravado” to the performance…and that he can (gasp!) get along with a liberal.

When it was announced earlier in the week, a round table on Real Time with Bill Maher involving Andrew Breitbart and Seth MacFarlane sounded like a guaranteed shoutfest, with Amy Holmes of the Talk Radio Network caught in the crossfire. For anyone who eagerly popped the popcorn thinking Bill Maher was going to make it a bad night for his right-wing guests, it was a disappointing event: the discussion was amicable, civil, and shockingly ended in agreement.

Bill Maher caved on his promise to America that until Republican Senate candidate from Delaware Christine O’Donnell agreed to do his show again, he would show embarrassing clips of her from appearances on his old show, Politically Incorrect. While keeping his audience waiting with bated breath and promising his new clip would “blow your socks off,” he delivered… a parody sketch. Was Maher bluffing about his personal O’Donnell gaffe library last week? Did the soothing presence of Andrew Breitbart give him reason to reconsider?

In an interview this month with Details, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane offers up his two cents on Arizona’s “Papers, Please” immigration policy and the ultimate fate of Prop 8 and civil rights. In typical Seth MacFarlane form, he didn’t mince his words, and, considering recent events, his take on immigration and gay rights seems particularly interesting.

Larry King had Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane on his show last night — one of the only people around who could give a good guess about the pressure that the creators of South ParkTrey Parker and Matt Stone must be facing, given the recent death threats from Islamic extremists over a recent episode. Unfortunately, King awkwardly avoided the questions that everyone wanted to here.

People accuse Bill Maher of being inflammatory just for ratings sake, but you have to hand it to him: last night’s panel was a veritable Who’s Who of polarizing guests….Eliot Spitzer, Seth MacFarlane, Norah O’Donnell…and yet everybody acted like civilized human beings! What’s going on here?

Viewers watching Sunday night’s new episode of Family Guy on FOX might have been surprised to see what looked like one of Adult Swim’s telltale white-font-on-black-background ads. Only it wasn’t during the commercial break: it was in the middle of the episode. And it plugged Adult Swim as “funnier” than Fox for not cutting out jokes. What gives? Video after the jump:

The FOX hit cartoon Family Guy has a long history of non-PC humor and taking sharp political jabs, almost exclusively aimed at conservatives and the GOP.

That’s about to change. The show is working on an episode that will include conservative heroes Rush Limbaugh and Karl Rove – and from the look of Rove’s tweets about it, they are very invovled in the process of putting the episode together.
