Rush Limbaugh Livid Over Allegations That Some Radio Show Callers Are Actors

A month ago, the online Jewish topics magazine Tablet published an article about actors being paid to call in to radio shows and pretend to be real callers. While Tablet didn’t name any specific shows that used the fakes, they mentioned that it was a service run by Premiere Radio Networks which, they pointed out, syndicates the radio shows of “Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity.” It wasn’t too hard for many people who read the piece to make the leap that those shows engage in the practice. Today, on air, Limbaugh vehemently denied the allegations.

Wired‘s iPad Demo Wows SXSW Audience

Scott Dadich, Design Director for Wired and Jeremy Clark, Experience Designer for Adobe, previewed a demo of Wired‘s future plans for an iPad version of the Conde Nast title. Kindle to Dwindle with Release of Apple Tablet?

Pretty much everyone – from Politics Daily to BusinessWeek to the LA Times to textbook companies and every techie publication known to man – is anticipating the release of a Kindle-esque Apple tablet, or at least an announcement of it. Perhaps Steve Jobs spoke too soon last year when he told the New York Times that the Kindle would inevitably fail because Americans just don’t read anymore.
