Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham Thursday blamed the lack of civility in today’s political discourse on 24-hour news cycle, talk radio and voters’ electing confrontational politicians to office. But he saved some of his best shots for Fox News hosts. Asked what he thinks of Glenn Beck, Graham replied, “Only in America can you make that much money crying.” Snap!

Anderson Cooper got hoorahs for “doing his homework” and “destroying” Mark Williams, during their interview yesterday. Until recently, Williams was a relatively unknown radio host and FNC regular until he became a national leader of the “Tea Party” movement – the organized protests of Obama’s healthcare reform. And while Cooper challenged Williams about some of his untrue accusations, he may have also given credence to their racist underpinnings.

By virtue of being Alan Colmes, you know that Alan Colmes has to be a bit of a masochist. For more than twelve years, he endured the unenviable ‘liberal whipping boy’ slot on Hannity & Colmes – and, by extension, on all of Fox.
