The verdict in “Kelly’s Court” is in: the defendant is found guilty of “say it; don’t spray it.” Megyn Kelly debuted new video of a Tea Party protester confronting Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, who accused the man of spitting on him, and while the tape clearly shows the man screaming at the Congressman and the latter recoiling at a point, Kelly’s law correspondents see no evidence of intentional spitting.

Earlier this week, self-described “Tea Party” protesters descended on Washington for what they called “Code Red” rally on health care. Participants were joined by numerous conservative and Republican personalities including Rep. Michele Bachmann, radio-host Laura Ingraham, Sen. Jim Demint and Sen. Tom Coburn. Participants dressed in an alarming red, chanted, “Kill the bill!,” and some even got into the spirit of Christmas in a most unusual way — by singing a Tea Party version of the “12 Days of Christmas.” Video after the jump.

At yesterday’s White House Briefing, Jake Tapper asked Press Secretary Robert Gibbs about the Tea Party protest that was occurring on Capitol Hill yesterday. Gibbs responded by saying that he was tempted to make a joke about Tea Party speaker Jon Voight. Despite cajoling, he resisted. Despite that, we couldn’t resist an attempt to get him to clarify.

At the final day of a conference by health insurance lobby group America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), a group of protesters set themselves apart from the usual tree-chaining, offensive-sign-carrying, poorly thought-out chanting that we’re all used to by combining political protest, musical theater, and flash mob spontaneity.
