During a segment about a woman who alleges that she was sexually assaulted by a man she met on the dating website Match.com, O’Reilly Factor contributor Lis Wiehl made an unwise wisecrack Tuesday night. Noting that the assault occurred on a second date, she wondered aloud about the alleged victim, “Who goes out with a guy like that twice?”

Saturday Night Live”started off with Jason Sudeikis as Bill O’Reilly, who recapped his own interview with President Obama last Sunday. The interview, O’Reilly reminded us, was the “most watched in history,” though O’Reilly is probably the only person in the world who thinks that was the most exciting thing to happen on Superbowl Sunday.

In the hours that preceded Sunday night’s Super Bowl, President Obama sat down for a live (and lively) interview with Fox News host Bill O’Reilly. Last night’s O’Reilly Factor was fittingly almost entirely dedicated to dissection of the back and forth, or in O’Reilly’s terms, “was the interview pinheaded or patriotic?” The Fox News anchor took on criticism over his asking of Obama if he was “disturbed that some people hate (him.)”

You can set your watch by it ever year. Whenever there’s snow on the ground, as sure there are children hoping for a snow day, there’s someone out there smugly shaking their head and saying, “Guess Al Gore was wrong about that whole Global Warming thing, huh?” This year that person was Bill O’Reilly and, this year, he actually got a response from none other than Gore himself.

Newly-elected Ohio Governor John Kasich (R-OH) has been the subject of considerable outrage over his appointment of an all-white cabinet. the first in Ohio since 1962. Kasich recently responded to Ohio Black Legislative Caucus treasurer state Sen. Nina Turner‘s (D-OH) offer to assist him in building a more diverse cabinet by saying “I don’t need your people.”

Bill O’Reilly took exception to being included in Jon Stewart‘s searing criticism of Fox News’ use of Nazi rhetoric in its opinion media programming. Focusing on a short clip sampled by Daily Show producers in which which The Factor host compared “hate-filled blogs” with Nazi Germany, O’Reilly explained that the reference in question was taken out of context, but ironically, O’Reilly seemed to miss the context of Stewart’s criticism as well.

Michelle Bachmann joined Bill O’Reilly last night to discuss tonight’s State of the Union speech and her response on behalf of the Tea Party Express organization. The subject of Gabrielle Giffords inevitably came up, and Bachmann revealed her personal reaction to learning the tragic news that a friend of hers had been shot. The conversation quickly turned to the post-shooting exploitation war that quickly played out in the media, which Mr. O’Reilly claimed his side to have won.

By now, just about everyone’s weighed in on Ricky Gervais’ controversial Golden Globes hosting job, so tonight, Bill O’Reilly and Dennis Miller decided to join the party. And both seemed to agree: by bringing in Gervais, the Globes got exactly what they were asking for.

Sarah Palin can’t seem to escape criticism lately, from Newt Gingrich to Stephen Colbert. Tonight, Bill O’Reilly brought pundit/consultant Dick Morris onto the Factor to discuss what Palin’s been doing wrong…and what she might do better.

Tonight, O’Reilly Factor guest host Eric Bolling welcomed a panel to debate that matter of great national import: Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell’s assertion that the postponing of Sunday night’s scheduled Eagles game to tonight (due to the blizzard that blitzed the Northeast) represents America’s devolution into “a nation of wusses.”

Bill O’Reilly had Sarah Palin on the Factor tonight, and he wanted to know something many have wondered: are Palin’s TLC program and new book presidential, or might they hurt her politically? Palin, of course, didn’t seem concerned.

Bill O’Reilly recently talked with frequent Fox News guest Charles Krauthammer to handicap potential GOP candidates’ chances in the 2012 presidential election. Krauthammer called Mitt Romney the front-runner” and said Mike Huckabee has established himself as a “major player”…but his most dissected comments will probably be his remarks on one Sarah Palin.

Less than a month after being convicted on 11 counts of ethical violations by a House panel, Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) sat down for a chat with Bill O’Reilly on the Factor tonight. If you thought O’Reilly would push Rangel more than Rangel believed was fair, and ultimately neither would really get anywhere…well, yeah, that’s about how it went.

It was a packed night for Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor: first he welcomed Rep. Charles Rangel, fresh off several ethics convictions, on the program (more on that later), and later spoke to Barbara Walters, promoting her “10 Most Fascinating people of 2010″ special. Chief among the topics of discussion: Walters’ recent interview with Oprah Winfrey; specifically, Oprah’s emotional discussion of her own sexual orientation.

During a defensive press conference today, President Obama ruffled a few feathers by making a controversial comparison between Republicans and hostage takers. Fox News Washington Correspondent James Rosen especially took umbrage at this remark—but not because he thought it was uncalled for. Instead, as Rosen told Bill O’Reilly tonight, he thinks Obama’s comment could have “national security implications.”

When you think “Andy Griffith,” one of the first things you associate with that name may well be “All-American.” The iconic Andy Griffith Show, its fictional setting of Mayberry, N.C. that’s become shorthand for small-town utopia…even Griffith’s picture on his Wikipedia page is him getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom, for crying out loud. So why’d Bill O’Reilly take issue with him on the Factor last night?

On Monday’s episode of his show, Glenn Beck promised viewers that bloggers were going to twist his words and claim he was connecting WikiLeaks and George Soros (even though he totally, kinda, sorta was). You can’t really blame bloggers for twisting anything this morning, now that Beck’s basically just out and out doing it. He appeared on The O’Reilly Factor last night to discuss the whole situation and, thanks to Bill O’Reilly’s pushing, gave some more quotes about the “spooky old man’s” possible involvement.

Before Juan Williams-gate and Keith Olbermann-gate, there was Joy and Whoopi-gate—when Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg stormed off the set of The View after a comment made by guest Bill O’Reilly rubbed them the wrong way. Though both hosts have spoken out about the incident since, both on their own show and elsewhere, neither has sat down with O’Reilly himself to discuss what happened—until now.

There’s a new candidate for most absurd and hyperbolic statement of the week: Laura Ingraham‘s blanket statement about liberals’ supposed hatred of free speech. Ingraham was inspired to say what she did on last night’s O’Reilly Factor, during a conversation about recent comments made by Al Sharpton and Senator Jay Rockefeller.

Last week, Newsweek‘s Daniel Stone published a piece with a provocative thesis: that the American presidency “has grown, and grown and grown, into the most powerful, most impossible job in the world.” In other words, says Stone, the presidency is too big a job for just one man or woman to handle alone.

Columnist Charles Krauthammer, however, isn’t buying it.

Fox News’ top talker Bill O’Reilly won’t soon be confused for a Chardonnay-sipping subscriber of The New York Times, and he took time out in a “Factor Followup” segment Monday night to dissect the “decline and fall” of the Gray Lady–the subject of a new book by Times watcher William McGowan.

O’Reilly, frustrated with Pres. Bush refusing to answer current events questions, countered with a solid argument why his claims of not wanting to undermine Pres. Barack Obama don’t really hold up.

Bill O’Reilly had quite the guest on the Factor tonight – former President George W. Bush. Bush was there to promote his new memoir, Decision Points, but O’Reilly wanted to talk about more – namely, some of his opinions on the current political climate, how many of his decisions still resonate today, and in a few cases, why the current administration is doing what it’s doing. Bush wasn’t having any of it.
