Video Captures Tea Party Congressman Joe Walsh Ranting, Raving, Screaming In Lady’s Face

Walsh video

Man, some Americans are so stupid, right! They just keep trying to blame the poor, poor banks and corporations for, y’know, stealing everyone’s money and ruining the economy! Fortunately, there are people out there who can talk some sense into these people. However, by “talk some sense” I, of course, mean “scream at them like an absolute lunatic” which is what Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh does in a video posted today to YouTube. In it, Walsh runs around a town hall in an Uno restaurant ranting and raving about people being too dumb to listen.

God, Joe. I feel ya. It must be so annoying when jerky people just refuse to listen to what you have to say.

Hopefully we haven’t reached the point where the only way Speaker of the House John Boehner and President Obama communicate with one another is through Twitter. Today during Obama’s first ever “Twitter Town Hall Meeting,” one of the questions posed to the President came from the leader of the loyal opposition. Boehner launched a series of questions through his dual Twitter accounts (hey why does he have two?), and one of his less argumentative inquires was addressed.

NJ Gov. Chris Christie looks to be getting popular on the Internet. Or is it infamous. This video, which the sort of thing that will quickly find it’s way to an upcoming campaign commercial, was taken during a town hall meeting in Rutherford, New Jersey. At the one point, a local teacher complains that Christie’s proposed budget cuts would lead to unworkable salaries for teachers. As she turns to sit down, Christie gives her a simple solution: “Well, you know what, then you don’t have to do it.”

Fox Decides, Then Reports: Coverage Of Obama Town Hall Clearly Unfair

When Sen. Arlen Specter‘s town hall meeting this morning got contentious, all the cablers were there to cover it live. Fox News spent the most time, giving it 55 uninterrupted minutes (according to TV Eyes).

Then there was Pres. Barack Obama’s town hall this afternoon, that each cabler again covered live. But Fox News ended its coverage after just 30 minutes. It was the latest, and one of the most blatant, example of the decidedly non-”fair and balanced” way FNC has covered the town halls, and health care debate.

Daily Show Looks At Angry Protesters, Through The Years

VIDEO

We’re just a couple hours away from Pres. Barack Obama‘s latest foray into town hall-ing, and last night on The Daily Show the eruptive meetings took on a new light.

After detailing the various ways Americans are “making their voices heard” in these very vocal forums, Jon Stewart focused on the conservative commentators and hosts so supportive now of the protesters. But what about their thoughts on angry protesters in the past when the tables were turned? Let’s go to the videotape…
