In a last minute upset, the USA men’s hockey team scored on Canada to put the game into overtime. We’ve already discussed how this game is probably the most important event for our country’s morale in the Olympics, and just when it looked like Canada was going to beat our collective butts, our scrappy team came back with the shot heard round the world. Update: Canada won, but still!

Today’s Gold Medal hockey game is the big one — huge not only for Canada but for the United States and its team that has battled it’s way to the final showdown in a spot it is habitually unsused to: the underdog. Whatever the outcome, though, there will be one clear winner: The game of hockey.
