One word for Imus? “Coward” “boot-licker” (is that one word?) “spineless”, “phony-tough”. He makes a relatively innocuous comment and cowers when the pc crowd who impose their guilt-ridden ridiculous nonsense on everyone else they can and the absurdly thin-skinned blacks who’ve made careers out of screaming racist at every shadow they can put pressure on good ol’ boy Imus. He can’t even stand up for himself, who’s he to open his mouth about others? He’s more of a suck up and as+ kisser than Michael Richards who didn’t have the guts to admit he got angry and said something unseemly but pretended he was possessed by some evil force or something. Wasn’t Imus the same clown who always complained about the pc crowd yet doesn’t have ball one to stand up to them?

The the racism charge comes from something KO said on Monday Night Football:

“With the Denver drive having stalled, Roscoe Parrish on the punt return. Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles at its finest. He could go the entire distance and does and it’s seven-zip Bills.”

Roscoe Parrish is a Black wide-receiver, and one could ask would he have referenced “Chicken and Waffles” if not for his race? A poor choice of words at best.

Also, there was his comment about Bill Clinton and Bill Richardson:

New York Senator Clinton, an adopted Giants fan watched the game in Minnesota and told the Associated Press, quote, “Super Bowl, Super Tuesday, we’ve got one down, let’s get the other.” This as her husband watched the game in New Mexico with the former governor, or with the governor and former presidential Bill Richardson, possibly asking Richardson for an endorsement and then, “would you please pass the guacamole?”

Why “guacamole?”

The point is… if you want to play this, “I’m offended at everything, even obvious jokes…” well, then KO quite clearly comes a racist, right along with Imus.

Hey, I’m not racist – but I just want to say that the basketball team is just a bunch of black curly-headed whores. Keep in mind that I’m not racist I am by stating the fact that I’m not racist, despite what I just said. Can’t touch this!

I love the fact that, as soon as someone makes a blatantly racist statement – the staunch defenders of the oppressed white male majority objects to having their spade being called a spade.

I like his grouchyness. I like the way he’s not afraid to call out a guest – even a sitting US Senator – on the air if he thinks he full of it. Imus still calls a spade a spade. He still has a pair.
