Adam Lambert cooked his goose with me. His performance was over the top and pornographic, IMO. I will no longer defend him for being the talented kid I thought he was. I wouldn’t walk across the street to see him perform!

The airwaves, over which the Media broadcast, are the public airwaves, NOT THE MEDIA’S PRIVATE PROPERTY.

These Media presenters have a PUBLIC responsibility, to broadcast their content, over those PUBLIC airwaves.

While this has been diminished, substantially, since the creation of the FCC, it’s about time that TAX PAYERS, remember that, and remind the Media, of their public responsibility.

It’s not a “one way street”, as the Media would have this be.

ABC got 1,500 complaints out of 14.2 MILLION people who watched the AMA’s. Apparently they get MORE complaints from watchers of DWTS’s, which really points to blatant discrimination and homophobia directed towards Adam.

I DVR’d the show, but only to see Whitney’s performance…..and to see EMINEM. His new CD is coming out next week and I wanted to check out his new stuff. I am a big EMINEM fan.

I didn’t watch anything else. I don’t really care what entertainers do as long as they are entertaining. You can do things to “shock” the public just before your new CD drops to boost sales, but that isn’t always entertaining. I think sometimes folks forget that part of the business.

As far as the public being “outraged” with GLAMBERT…..hey, there is this thing called the off button….they should learn how to use it….there are hundreds of channels from which to choose. Anybody who didn’t expect the unexpected from that broadcast is just not being honest…it’s always been wacky.

Adam Lambert’s come and go, every five minutes…television shows are in it, for the LONG HAUL.

I predict, if Lambert wants to be in next week’s “newspapers”, he has to have a wardrobe malfunction, next.

STEVE: Adam was always suppose to be on Letterman on 11/25. It wasn’t “pushed”anywhere, they just taped the performance early. Also, The Early Show is going to have Adam on 11/25 instead, with a performance and interview. It may be backlash from the right wing crazies and idiots at ABC, but Adam has even more people supporting him then before because of GMA’s actions.

These morning, commercial network “talk” show, are a dying breed.

They will do ANYTHING to get ratings. THIS is shameful exploitation, besides being unseemly in the morning, on television.

I HOPE GMA takes MORE than just a ratings “hit” on this ! After the ACORN embarassment by Charlie Gibson,it only proves how inadequate and unnecessary they are.

In case they didn’t know it, this Country is going MORE “conservative”, and the IN YOUR FACE, “sex”, if that is what THIS is, doesn’t help them. But in their warped world, they think it’s a great thing.

But their demise, as soon as is possible, PLEASE, would be appreciated, so we don’t have to endure these morning SNOOOZE FESTS !
