Ann Coulter Compares Meghan McCain To Tiger Woods Mistress

Picture 5

It’s been a tough year for conservative firebreather Ann Coulter. She started out the year riding a wave of attention for her new book, but then Meghan McCain called her out by name in her Daily Beast column, touching off a proxy feud that saw McCain emerge triumphant.

Since then, Coulter has been overshadowed by ever-more-unhinged competitors like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, and watched as McCain’s shining star reached cornea-burning levels. Now, she’s reduced to taking extremely cheap shots at Meg at 3 in the morning. Enter Tiger Woods.

Kudos to Andy Levy for calling Coulter out here.

I’m not going to get too worked up about Coulter. As outrageous statements go, this is pretty mild for her. Sure, it’s telling that her first response to Meg’s largely substantive criticism is to compare her to an alleged prostitute. (Jamie Jungers denies she was paid for sex with Tiger Woods.) Certainly, her intent was to personally degrade a fellow female conservative, but Coulter has never promised to play nice.

In fact, this is a neat encapsulation of the whole Meg vs. Extreme Right feud. I have long said that the hard right has missed a huge opportunity with Meg, a chance to attract new blood to an increasingly older and smaller party. Instead, they’ve been relegated to comparing her to a “lady of the evening.” At 3 am.

Meghan McCain is a RINO! Republican in name only.

There goes TOMMY AGAIN lying out of his @ss just because Meghan McCain LOVES THE GAYS!!!

Its hilarious to call out Ann for this when it was actually PROFESSOR LAMONT HILL who is the one who first said it (during a break) and Greg and the others got Ann to say it.

Even though Andy Levy kisses McCains big fatt butt, she refuses to go on the show because Greg Gutfeld has said “mean things” about her. She tries to act so “tough” online, but in reality she is the biggest baby in the world.

You can judge people by their friends and McCain being best friends with that whore and liar Tila Tequila pretty much sums things up for you right there.

Could you imagine Ann or Laura Ingrham or others refusing to appear on the show because a host said “mean things” about them?!

When McCain does appear on shows she just makes a total ass of herself. Even the LA Times ripped her for her stupidity on Bill Maher’s show.

Shame Tommy just can’t admit that he hates Ann because Ann is a Christian and she doesn’t support the “gay agenda”. McCain is friends with porn stars and loves her “gays”. So Tommy hates Ann who is right on pretty much all the issues and loves McCain who constantly makes a fool of herself. Also, too bad Tommy didn’t call out Prof Lamont Hill (who first said the remark) and Greg, Bill and the Prof for urging Ann to say the line on air.

Also Tommy Boy should realize RED EYE doesn’t tape at 3:00 am.

And considering how much of the competition Red Eye beats

    http://www.mediaite.com/online/red-eye-resurgence-more-demo-viewers-watch-fox-at-3am-than-cnn-at-8pm/

I wouldn’t be making fun of 3:00 am either!

  • Ted

CapnAmerica – Some people are just assholes, there’s no denying it. You are an asshole.

PS – Did you know that Ann is a transsexual? It’s true, I’m Libertarian and we always tell the truth.

Wow, slow news day that you have to take a joke from Red Eye and spin it into a top of the page story?

To be honest, I thought both pictures at the top of the page were of McCain.

Get over it Tommy. Not that big of a story.

Here we have yet another headline about FNC, but…….the site is silent on these:

Matthews Frets Over ‘Idiots’ in America ‘Riling’ Up ‘White Tribalism,’

Public Radio Host: Our Bias Keeps Right-Wingers Alive on the Road

‘Welcome to Obamaville’ Sign At Homeless Tent City, Media Mum

MSNBC’s Matthews: ‘Miserable’ Culture ‘Pleasures Itself’ Over Argument there Isn’t Climate Change

Just goes to show all that FNC dominates, not only the ratings, but the headlines as well. I guess MSNBC’s assanine statements aren’t worth reporting on because no one watches?????

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/John-Boyer/602168764 John Boyer

TfT, could you give a link for the public radio host story? NPR, prolly.

  • TfT

John Boyer: The story is on newsbusters; last time I posted a link my post was held in “abeyance” while it was “moderated prior to posting” (or something like that) and it never got posted to the board.

Tommy, you are really hurting this website. I seriously cannot stand reading what you have to say. Completely unintelligent and never a real critical thought goes into one of your articles. I’m not sure why you even bring up the pointless Meagan McCain to begin with. She has done nothing. NOTHING. She has a little blog and a twitter account but her comments and pointless banter have no foundation. She really is a very pointless figure and unfortunately too many people are like her, and just aren’t smart enough to know that they don’t know.

  • Tommy Christopher

    Jonathan,

I like that, “very pointless,” but I think you’re seeing the glass extremely half empty here. Meg hit the nail on the head with her critique of Coulter, et al. Conservatives went with the Sarah Palins and Glenn Becks who preach to an ever-shrinking choir. The smaller that choir gets, the louder it sings.

Meg’s not a policy expert, but she is a great ambassador for moderate conservatism, and she has been an excellent role model for young women. People like Coulter, Ingraham, and the countless random Twitter trolls who level personal attacks against her only strengthen the notion that she’s on the right track.

  • Pat Doherty

Having just re-read Meghan McCain’s “substantive criticism” (i.e. ineloquent parroting of liberal talking points in a transparent plea for attention) of Ann Coulter after perusing Tommy’s article, I wonder what color the sky is in Mr. Christopher’s world when he says “Meg” triumphed over Ann. Coulter continues to be a manifest superstar of the political media firmament; Meghan, who owed her notoriety to her last name and the fact she was perfectly willing to tell liberal media figures (cf. Rachel Maddow) exactly what they wanted to hear about the big bad right-wingers, has had to resort to Maxim-style theatrics on Twitter to keep her name in the news. I wonder who’s going to buy Meghan McCain’s book; will it be the grateful liberals like Tommy who played her for a useful idiot, or forgiving, “pro-sex conservatives?” Tommy Christopher appears to define triumph as agreeing with Tommy Christopher.

P.S. A question for my conservative brothers and sisters. What’s more annoying: left-wing writers like Tommy
telling us who we should be paying attention to; or the fact that he’s telling us to pay attention to Meghan McCain, a nepotistic buffoon who CAN’T WRITE?

Notice how Mediaite isn’t reporting this tiny little big of news out today: (ya gotta remember who’s running this site, the NBC’s uber-left Dan Abrams of course)

Barack Obama’s presidential approval index number has dropped to -19.
Obama has dropped a stunning 49 points in less than one year.
In less than a year Obama has lost the independents. Only 21% strongly support his radical agenda while 49% of independents strongly disapprove.
    Rasmussen reported:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.

Today is the second straight day that Obama’s Approval Index rating has fallen to a new low. Prior to the past two days, the Approval Index had never fallen below -15 during Obama’s time in office (see trends).

The 23% who Strongly Approve matches the lowest level of enthusiasm yet recorded. Just 41% of Democrats Strongly Approve while 69% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 21% Strongly Approve and 49% Strongly Disapprove.

Real Clear Politics has more on Obama’s decline.

  • marquis

This Tommy Christopher d-bag is tripping balls…WTF is a “moderate conservative”, no such thing little homey. This chick is a straight up RINO. She’s got ‘ol Tommy bamboozled.

  • TfT

Uh oh….Coulter is on Heraldo’s show tonight……I guess we can look forward to another bash Coulter article tomorrow. Forget Matthews or Kurtz or any lefty on air spouting some nonesense. This site is reserved for taking on conservatives.

You are right, the association with MSNBC is undeniable, and thusly, never a negative thread about the inanities of Matthews, Olbermann, Maddow et al.

Lo be it that mediaite would step out of the liberal biased media box; gotta be part of the master theme of liberal media group think — Megan is queen, Coulter is the devil. Humorous.

  • ChrisNH

Lamont Hill is awesome; he talks faster than a speeding bullet and makes less sense than bent steel. “Oooo! If I talk rapidly they’ll just assume I’m brilliant. That and my PhD.” Trouble with that little line of reasoning is that a lot of those lying SOB ‘political scientists’ have PhDs, too. Maybe required coursework to get a PhD is how to secure your e-mails a bit better.

Stay classy everyone for going that route by calling Tommy Christopher gay (As an insult). Well done, you now have the intellectual capacity of a freeper/poster on Free Republic.

Why do I get the feeling that all the posters here are from Free Republic?

  • hkyplayer

I saw the red eye and what a joke. That was the smallest thing ever. Ann was just joking around because they look alike alittle. You need to watch Red Eye more to understand. It is just a fun non serious show.
I cant beleive this even made a headline. The Writer Tommy needs to get a life.

  • CaptainAmerica

    Snipzor says:

He’s not gay that I know of. He has a bisexual son (from what I recall in his rantings). Because of that he tries to insert the “gay agenda” into pretty much every post he can. Tommy is the one that needs to lay off the bias!

  • Fidoohki

*Shrugs* Tommy Christopher has a right to beleive and say what he wishes..just like we have here to say how much we think he is wrong… :P Let’s try to keep the personal name calling out of it okay? Leave then to the
    extremists on both sides.

  • Snipzor

    @CaptainAmerica

Hold on, gay agenda? Bias? Inserting his throbbing gay biased post in your head, or sometimes by means of a suppository? Not sure if serious… I know I’m not, but I can’t quite tell if you are.

While I disagree with a lot of what you say, you’re usually fairly reasoned (although, of recent, that’s declined a bit, IMO). However, it does damage this site (and you’re not the only one) when you put “articles” like this outside of the “Columnist” header. I know, posting here gets more page views… but to suggest that doesn’t contain heaping amounts of opinion is disingenuous and insulting to the readers.

Meghan McCain is not a conservative — let’s be clear about that.

  • Ted

ImNotBlue – Yes it is, thanks for noticing.

  • ireenawagner

I guess to me as a true Conservative (who believes in “conserving” our Constitution as it was written, with the intent of the founders in mind), the most objectionable part about this article is calling McCain, or his daughter, a Conservative. As a former 45 year Arizonan that left over McCain’s stance on illegal immigrants in favor of his developer buddies, and membership who is an “amigo of illegals” while Arizonans property and lives are being compromised each and every day due to the border hoppers and drug cartels, it’s an outrage to even hint that McCain is a Conservative.

When people throw around gay insults, it says a lot more about them than anything else, but I’d like to note that I know a lot of pretty influential conservatives who have no problem with lgbt rights, and who don’t engage in this kind of schoolyard bigotry. By the same token, lots of Democrats voted for Prop 8 and other anti-gay measures.

As for my son, my support for lgbt rights long predates his adolescence, which is a good thing. It’s a sad world in which a child has to feel gratitude at not being made to feel like he should kill himself for being who he is. I wrote about him because his bravery inspired me. I hesitated for just this reason, because I didn’t want him to be fodder for trolls. In the end, my pride and admiration for him won out.

Meghan McCain seems to be defined, for many, by her support for equality, or by her father’s more reasonable stands on immigration. I admire Meg because she has made great use of fame for fame’s sake, remaining honest and unafraid to be herself. She does a lot of good for people who need it. To question her conservatism based on gay rights and immigration, when some very smart, bona fide conservatives share her views, belies the “big tent” you guys try to swindle folks with.

  • Pat Doherty

    Tommy

Meghan McCain is defined, by almost everyone, as someone who landed a high profile gig writing for the Daily Beast (how is this not infuriating to you?) because of her last name. Her fleeting media presence (to say her “shining star reached cornea-burning levels” is simply not a serious assertion) is due entirely to the fact she was the daughter of the Republican presidential nominee and often says things antithetical to the presumptive Republican platform, usually on liberal media outlets. The fact that she can blither vacuously about gay marriage doesn’t make her a substantive voice. You want conservatives to dismiss the rhetoric of individuals (i.e. Beck, Coulter, Limbaugh) who’ve clawed to the top of the firmament through their own hard work, and follow a 25-year-old who owes her neophyte career to family connections and convenient ideological posturing.

P.S. Anyone who would mock your children in that way are despicable.

  • LNSmithee

Tommy, are you so disingenuous as to post the photos of Jungers and Meh-gan side by side and STILL insist there is no resemblance?

Yeah, Tommy, keep telling yourself that it is an “ever-shrinking choir” that has put Palin and Beck at the top of the bestseller lists (along with Mark Levin) for most of the calendar year. Tell yourself that Palin’s post-resignation appearance on Oprah garnering Winfrey’s largest ratings in two years (before she endorsed and hosted Obama on the Harpo stage twice) was a fluke. Tell yourself that Glenn Beck hasn’t established himself as a multimedia triple-threat: TV, radio, and print. And finally, tell yourself that Palin’s favorable ratings climbing toward Obama’s sinking numbers means absolutely nothing.

If that keeps you sane until you can face facts, more power to ya. Just ease into the real world s-l-o-w-l-y so your head doesn’t explode.

Oh, you mean the Free Republic which we can thank for exposing MSM titan Dan Rather’s attempt to swing the 2004 election using fake documents against George W. Bush, leading him to resign in disgrace? THAT Free Republic?

To be fair, I rarely visit FR anymore since starting my own sporadically-updated blog and tiring of arguing with the few but loud Larry Sinclair boosters when I could make my voice heard among a crowd less prone to that sort of nonsense. But I don’t like it when people pretend FR is less civil than places like Democratic Underground or DailyPOS, where there’s a celebration every time someone right of center dies or gets ill.

  • Fidoohki

They why is all the polls saying that conservatives are growing not shrinking? Remember, Republicans and Conservatives are not the same thing. Now as for Ms. Palin, she is one that people want to like or hate.
Democrats are terrified of her because she could be the one to truly bring women into political arenas on both sides and not as just ‘instant democrats’ and Beck? All I have to say is that I’ve noticed that there is more ‘Beck is crazy, Beck is crooked’ charges leveled against him than there is dismantling of his viewpoints on subjects.

Coulter and McCain. Adding to the infantilization of the electorate. Swimming and splashing about in a moral cesspool. Brownshirts with boobs.

Red Eye is on at 12am pst, not too late to watch nightly. I saw the show that night and the comparison was funny! If THAT is all such a pc guy as you has to complain about, you don’t watch Red Eye do you?

  • LNSmithee

All I have to say is that I’ve noticed that there is more ‘Beck is crazy, Beck is crooked’ charges leveled against him than there is dismantling of his viewpoints on subjects.

Precisely. It speaks volumes that in the midst of Beck exposing how WH State Dinner guest Robert W. Creamer wrote the apparent “blueprint” for ObamaCare strategy while in prison for bank fraud and tax evasion, the best Jon Stewart could do was say “He’s doing commercials for gold dealers while talking about the sinking dollar!” as if he alone was driving the greenback down and deadly path rather than Obama’s endless projected deficits. “Waiter, there’s a gnat in my camel!”

All Beck does is bring the known facts and ask questions. His detractors don’t address the facts he lays out accurately, they just point and laugh at his funny faces, his spastic giggling, and occasional weeping. THAT’S what matters, they say — “he’s nuts.” Never mind his questioning why BHO hired a tax cheat to fix the economy or why he’s surrounded himself with “advisors” and radical activists with a long record of wanting to dismantle the free market system. And never mind that nobody ever answers those questions.

I noticed that Baba Wawa edited Beck’s insistence that he hopes he’s proven wrong about his warnings because that would be tragic for America.

  • LNSmithee

    …AND ANOTHER THING!

Ain’t it funny that all of a sudden, being called a “plus-sized model” was an insult when Laura Ingraham said that about Meh-gan? Or as, McCain herself inaccurately asserted on The View, that Ingraham meant to say she was “too fat to write”?

Speaking for myself, I have always dug “plus-sized models,” and have gone on record as saying there’s nothing horribly wrong with Meghan’s exterior! Falling well short of Tyson Beckford or Blair Underwood (among others) myself, I would be delighted if my yet-to-be-found soul mate looked like Meghan. For McCain herself to qualify, however, she’d have to undergo the Dr. Necessiter brain-transfer treatment.

  • marquis

Tommy I’m sorry to hear about your gay son. But, truth be told, if you were my dad I’d probably be gay too. Word is bond.

  • Jim R

I agree Tommy, I think Republicans are missing the boat with Ms. McCain’s re-branding efforts. Irony abounds when the vitriol and hate she receives for it proves her point.

We’ll always have haters with us but they’re people too and it’s a free country – let’s just hope they continue ignoring demographics and trends and stick to their hate guns!

  • Bistro

Tommy….you really should lose the “hater” name-calling bit. It’s outdated, and even worse, sounds exactly like Meghan McCain. Very juvenile, Tommy. Also, Meghan is about as nasty as a person can get. Ann’s funny comment on RedEye was SO mild compared to what bitch McCain puts out there. You and your gay community are so damn superficial. ANYONE who stands up for gays is a great and wonderful person in your minds, even if it’s that brainless unkind creep, Meghan McCain.

  • Fidoohki

Ms. McCain’s efforts at rebranding are the same old crap they have been trying and failing
at for decades. They want to represent a niche of america that already has
representatives… Democrats. This goes to more of a ‘only one public voice’ on certain subjects ((IE
Climate change, homosexuality, Healthcare etc etc)) which I truly feel is as UnAmerican as you can
    get.

Pluralist society people! We’re the Great American Melting Pot not the Not so Great American Bundle
Bag! We have to get back to respecting different POVS or finding livable compromises otherwise we
are truly screwed and not in a good way….

…we now return you to the debate in progress…:)
