Another thing that showed her vacuousness, was when Larry King pointed out that one of her central concepts–that conservative women were being unfairly attacked for their beliefs, compared to non-conservative women–was bogus, when he recited a list of non-conservative women who had just recently been verbally attacked in sleazy ways for their beliefs, their work, and their appearance, among which was Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi: conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham, speaking on Fox News about Pelosi’s work in getting the House version of a health insurance reform bill passed, said: “I mean Nancy Pelosi did everything but sell her own body to get this bill passed…” And another Fox News talking head, Republican pollster Frank Luntz, said Pelosi, who appears to have had a face lift some time in the past year, was “living proof you get one shot at a facelift. If it doesn’t work the first time, let it go.” Larry King had other examples, but those give you some idea.

Larry King is a failed has-been as a reporter or commentator. Going out of one’s way to have someone relate on air something that is in a current court procedure when they have specifically been told that they could or should not make comments in this area was nothing more than a deliberate attempt to belittle his guest. This is a tactic he frequently uses to belittle any guest that does not agree with his ultra-left political views. It is also one of many reasons he consistently commands the lower end of ratings – night after night. What a low class “bum”.

Haha Larry King “badger” a guest!? Give me a break – even if his question were too “inappropriate” Carrie Prejean should have been prepared to answer it – if she didn’t want to answer it, there were better ways to go about it than “flip out!” and take her mic off and walk away. Sorry every interview isn’t handled with such “kiddie-white-gloves” like Sean Hannity uses . . . . People are “sick and tired of conservative women getting beat to hell by a bunch of liberal wanks on television” ? Yeah – I’m sure Coulter, Malkin, and Laura Ingraham can’t stand up for themselves – I have NO problem with people having different views than I have – that’s part of the beauty of this country – we are allowed to have differing views – but the least Prejean could have done was defend herself (if she really felt King’s question was inappropriate) and not storm off because the channel was CNN and not FoxNews.

p.s. – The so called “sex tape” is a non-story, in my opinion, but what if Prejean answered Hilton’s question differently? You don’t think Hannity would be all over it and use that sex tape to discredit Prejean? Think about that, people.

I think Larry did badger her a bit too much at the end, but was more due to shock than maliciousness.

The more demands you make of what can and can not be said, the more chance for error.

She would be wise not to give out her political opinions. It just exposes her stupidity. In the battle of wits, she comes an unarmed.

From this clip it seems that what she should have said more forcdefully is “Larry, I absolutely can’t answer anything relating to the mediation, but happy to respond to other questions.” Just Larry trying to stay relevant. Fail.

I’m so sick and tired of conservative women getting beat to hell by a bunch of liberal wanks on television. So she answered a question and Perez didn’t like the answer so he called her a c–t. And here she is, getting set up, beat up, etc., by an old man who doesn’t have an ounce of integrity. He badgered her with the same question continuously. This episode was much more of an embarrassment to CNN than it was to Prejean.

I think Prejean is just another conservative bimbo hypocrite, however, I think the old Crypt Keeper’s question and the “gay” phone call were an obvious ambush set up to see how she would react in order to gain desperately needed publicity for 4th place CNN.

Does anyone truly believe that there is any real interest in a book “written” by this dimwit?

I watched the whole interview on Larry King last night and not just this little excerpt here. Larry badgered her the whole night trying to get her to answer questions that she had already stated she wasn’t allowed to answer. He didn’t stop hounding her about it though and kept on asking other similar questions so he’d get an answer to the first question that he asked. She did not get mad until almost the end of her time on the show. Now if you were hounded like that wouldn’t you get pissed off also?

As to her not taking phone calls…she stated that someone on Larry’s staff told her she wouldn’t have to take phone calls. When they were talking to her trying to book her on the show this would have been discussed and if they said she had to take calls she wouldn’t have came on to begin with. So the night of the show they throw on phone calls even when they told her she wouldn’t have to take any. Is that how you respectively treat a guest? Now who is to blame there?

It seems like to me that CNN wanted her to mess up or get mad so that they could have their little sound bite to use against her all night last night and through out the day today. It seems that they got it.

I don’t care for the woman myself but when someone is being railroaded I do have the balls to say that they are. Carrie was definitely played by CNN last night.

“Author and preachy solo sex tape performer Carrie Prejean,” who is she preaching to? It was a pageant question. And I am surprised you aren’t displaying a racy photo of her for the one, two, & three… down for the count!!! She was asked a question, Please interject here how in your world she should have answered that question.. PLEASE! I am pretty sure if those in the media left it at what it was a pageant question, it would have faded away…
In America, I thought we were allowed diverse thoughts. You don’t have to like them or agree with them but I am still sure you are allowed to think them and express them. All who disagree with her thoughts are allowed and are encouraged to say “hey I disagree! and here’s why…” but those who look the fool are those who discredit her by Ripping her apart in a one way media campaign. All the while yelling “hypocrite!!”. They better hope it’s not a two way street there are on.

Really, Answer this… If you were Carrie Prejean How would YOU have answered Perez Hilton’s Question?

I fill sorry for Carrie. She’s being personal attacked, insulted, exploited and mistreated. All because she gave a politically incorrect/non-liberal answer, to a question on gay marriage. If she would’ve just said yes, I support it. None of this would be happening.
