It is my opinion that president Obama is much smarter than given credit for. This man definitely has leadership qualities that far outshine any of his prospective opponents. On Wall Street, Money talks! Many Wall Street-ers are hedging their bets, wanting Romney’s experience in the White House, but remembering the massive display and small contributor base that propelled Obama into the the presidency. With Romney winning they have someone who would not allow massive changes to the tax code endangering millionaires. Romney’s 13.7% effective taxes on his $21.7 million in 2010, shows the glaring inequity in taxation and Wall Street-ers want to keep the Status Quo. Americans are more informed and fully aware of what has been widely distributed from the Occupy Wall Street movement, the there is a concentration of wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer people and the concentration of power in stricter, less compassionate hands.  Money talks. Big money talks louder! Unlimited sums bark orders. Romney has been running for five plus years and his troops have their orders to get it done. Well organized and flush with money, his juggernaut will roll. Seeking and Hiding behind the “Conservative” mantra, Romney wants control at any cost. Hiding behind the TEA party, he wants to control you and your thoughts. The TEA party protest taxes which pays for a multitude of programs they deem unnecessary, in-effective or not allowed by the constitution. Then try to shield their actions under limited government while allowing others to impose their strict religious beliefs. They want no controls over monies, schooling, curriculum and even isolationism. These guys want to grab and hold onto patriotism as their own and no one else can claim it. And this guy doesn’t care about the poor, marginalized people. With TEA party backing he would dismantle the entire Social Programs in place, privatize Social Security and start another war.

What cracks me up about this piece is that you’re correct in asking the most BASIC question of all — Why?

The other day Tommy wrote a column about Sunday’s episode of ABC’s “This Week”, where he bitched about George Will and abortion. But as I noted in that comment section, I found it laughable that out of an hour-long show THAT is what he chose to write about when — on the very same show — the FAR more newsworthy moment came when Arianna Huffington declared that Liberals felt it was perfectly okay for the American military to slide down the ladder and be #2 or #3 in the world. Her argument being that Liberals believed the U.S. should NEVER be allowed to become SO strong that other countries would stop picking fights. Which was SUCH a jaw-dropping moment that even George Stephanopoulos looked at her with a totally wide-eyed and incredulous look of “What???”

But instead of reporting on THAT, naturally we were treated to yet another anti-Right hit piece by Tommy — probably because his latest check from DNC command must’ve arrived in the mail. Which is why we’re likewise getting an eye-rolling article like this. And what makes it truly LAUGHABLE is that given the 24 / 7 / 365 news cycle that we live in these days…and given ALL of the guests that come and go and ALL of the comments that get made…editorially speaking, with SO MUCH to choose from each and every single day… instead of any of THAT being reported we’re treated to an article straight off the DNC fax machine about this moron’s smile.

Think about it — what is one of THE most common things that constantly gets mentioned about Romney, even by his detractors? It’s his looks. Actually, that’s not hard to believe. The old Hollywood adage “the camera adds 10 pounds” is absolutely true — heck, most people see that by looking at their own photos, when they’ll often frown and think “Gee, I look really fat in that.”  And speaking as a transplanted East Coaster who was always star-struck and dreamed of living and working in Hollywood, the #1 most common reaction I have whenever I meet a celebrity is “Whoa! Is that what you REALLY look like in REAL life???”

So when you see someone as thin as Obama on TV, it’s a SURE BET that if you met him in person you’d be thinking “Holy crap! This guy looks pretty wimpy. I know Michelle is on a “don’t eat certain foods” kick, but someone should really give this guy a few extra burgers and pizzas and ice cream cones!”
