Geraldo was on my clicker loop during the announcement buildup and Bret Baier joined him in the studio. I’ve seen someone point out somewhere that Fox Broadcast didn’t carry the speech, but they’re a more loosely-defined network and 11:30 Eastern would’ve been an hour and a half after their network programming had ended.

BTW: It may have just been my market, but around here, the CBS affiliate didn’t carry the not-speculating, okay-here’s-what-we’ve-heard and they stuck with local news.

I’m just relaying something that I’ve seen someone else report. I spent most of the buildup switching between the three cable news networks (CNN, Fox & MSNBC) and a couple of times, I went directly to my local ABC, NBC and CBS affiliate to see what they were saying, but I didn’t think to check Fox Broadcast, myself.

BTW: As I said, my local CBS affiliate stayed with local news. I don’t know if they actually carried the speech, but the decision as to what to carry would be up to the local affiliates and that’s probably especially true for (non-O&Oed) Fox because of the way they’re structured.
