Early on, he particularly angered me in his dismissive treatment of Contessa Brewer. That is one strong, smart woman and she turned out to be the ONE bright spot in Dylan's first couple weeks. She is still a bright spot on the show, but now Dylan seems to recognize and respect her more. I caught Dylan today (7/29) and, for the most part, it was a watchable show. He has great regular guests, Contessa's a strength he needs to recognize and respect, and he seems to be finding the balance between spouting his opinion (not so loudly any more) and guiding/focusing the conversation. The improvement has earned him more time to continue for now.
