This is one of the foremost blogs in the field of educational activity. But it isn’t about the media’s pain, really. Look at the word “medium” and think about what it means. Campbell Brown, along with everyone else involved in the media coverage of this tragedy, is the avenue through which we receive information. The data she’s passing along contains a lot of facts and figures, but a good portion of it happens to be emotional data. That doesn’t mean that she’s doing something wrong, nor that she’s making this about her. It means she’s being truthful, which is her job.

Duc du Berry there are all types of stories coming out of this tragedy and for you to fault someone for showing emotion for a story about a part of it is something I just don’t get.

gawd, the whole thing is so tragic. I cant imagine how frustrating it must be to be there, so close, but feel helpless. Have they been able to bring in any aid yet, beyond the airport? What about food/water/medical suppy drops?

I am happy to hear they freed this little girl. It was so heartbreaking in the other clip, to hear her screams.

It is just so awful.
