When The MSM Obsesses Over Crotches, Have The Terrorists Won?
The failed terrorist attack on Christmas day has sent nearly everyone in a frenzy over airport security. And while many Americans are willing to make some sacrifices in the name of safe flying, that appears to only go so far, best evidenced by today’s scorn the news media brought towards underwear searches — particularly those made by dogs. But not only was there great skepticism, there was also a strange obsession with our nether regions. More specifically, the nation’s collective crotch.

Bring on the body scans! This liberal has no problem with it. While many feel it’s an invasion of privacy, I don’t.
After sniffing crotches all day, the poor detection pooch won’t want to go home and sniff the wife.

@roxsteady: Based on the images I saw, the last time scans were discussed, widespread implementation could open a whole new career for pervs.
I think the best way to implement such scans, would be to have the scanners located out of sight. If they can’t see the person outside of the scan, it would be much less invasive. Give everyone a number ID or some sort, and when they go through the scanner, someone in a remote room gets the name of the person, their ID number, and the scanned image. If they see something suspicious, they contact the screener, who can move the person to another room.
And that’s my plan!
Pfft, figures… my fellow conservatives never want to talk about crotches until bombs are involved.
I’d say the media hysteria has just about reached a new pinnacle of overreaction.
This is a golden opportunity for TV commercials for diet plans and/or health spas. “Look better at the airport!”
