I doubt Letterman has much to worry about as far as his "wife" is concerned. If it wasn't for him no one would even know who she is. She will hang on as long as she can. As far as Letterman's two-faced attitude about this matter is concerned, he is probably trying to test the waters to see which one will be beneficial to his ratings such as they are.
