From a Panel Goers perspective, what's most interesting is that the episode with his daughter was not even brought up. Is that because of an agreement? Is that because it's not timely? Or- and this would be something to try and figure out why it is true - is it because, as you alluded to, this episode has not tainted him (or, at least, not stained his career)? I am not sure that's worthy of any sort of definitive conclusion, but it is certainly interesting.
