Donald Trump Responds To Karl Rove’s ‘Cheap Shot’: He And Bush ‘Gave Us Obama’

Video

Potential Republican candidate for President Donald Trump used his weekly time on Fox & Friends this morning to directly lash out at Fox News analyst Karl Rove, after Rove’s “cheap shot” that Trump thought was just “ridiculous.” Not only did Trump refuse to back down from his repeated plea for President Obama to show his birth certificate, but he also blamed Rove for being the one to have created Obama in the first place.

Trump argued:

“Bush gave us Obama. In all fairness to John McCain and Sarah Palin, nobody could have won. You could have brought back Abraham Lincoln, he couldn’t have beaten Obama at that time, because of what Karl [Rove] and Bush had done in that last period of Bush’s campaign.”

And despite dropping “crazy” Gary Busey from Celebrity Apprentice last night, the “crazy” birther issue is still alive and kicking. Trump didn’t want to comment whether his investigators in Hawaii were still searching for clues, however he convinced Steve Doocy enough to the point where Doocy concluded, Obama “could end it simply, just show [the birth certificate] to us and it will be over.”

Rove has a point. Strategically, that birther b.s. might play well to the Tea Party crowd, but it is a loser with the middle of the spectrum where the GOP needs to pull votes. That is why the liberal media can’t stop talking about it. The GOP needs to focus on Obama’s budget busting programs and lust for taxation. Obama talks to the nation like their money is already the government’s: “We can’t afford the Bush tax cuts.” He calmly speaks about deficit spending like it is OK because of the recession we are trying to climb out of. And the Dems think the only way to stimulate the economy is through government spending. This is what Trump and any serious GOP candidate needs to be saying.

Trump speaks truth to power. Any idiot, even liberals have to know the perfect storm of eight years of unreleting vitriol, no WMD in Iraq and the housing buble bursting and subsequent federal government cover up ( engineered) false banking collapse 18 months before election day created the perfect storm that allowed an imposter such as Barack Obama to launch a coup ( of sorts ) which landed him in our White House.

The chain of events (circumstances ) leading up to that fatefull day ( a perfect storm ) and the resulting devastation to America’s future existence, which continues through today, will live on in imfamy.

Hopefully future generation will be reading about this dark period in our countries history in English, not Chinese or Arabic books.

The next election and the forces of good ” real ” Americans over evil, the rest of you will decide our fate as well as the continued existence of the United States of America.

    God Bless America.

You are welcome to your opinion. But some of you act like the Obama is the anti christ. I don’t know
if its a race thing or what. the old saying is (if you don’t believe in somrthing you will not fall for anything).
Well some of you are still falling for anything. Trump is full of it. the birth certificate issue is a lie. But some of you refuse to believe it, So if he did show his certificate ( which he doesn,t have to) why would you believe
    its real.

I don’t trust Karl Rove. If Trump wins the Republican primary (impossible), I can bet Rove would organise a 527 group against Trump.

I think you’re actually way off… he’s doing it all on purpose. Legally he has shown enough and because Republicans/Conservatives/ and almost everyone in congress follows the law (while utilizing loopholes whenever possible), there is literally nothing they can do about his birth certificate. It’s a dead issue… but I think Republicans are playing right into Obama’s hands, instead of focusing on real issues, Republicans are focusing on Obama’s birth certificate…. meanwhile, Obama will be giving amazing speeches until the election.

Most intelligent people would probably rather hear our leader’s plans for the economy, not some crazy loophole debate that is going nowhere.

  • Dildo Buggins

Birthers, Busey and Bush. Trump knows how to push buttons.

Obama is letting the right wing crazies “out” themselves over the birth certificate. They aren’t smart enough to see the trap. He released all that was legally required and turned the wingnuts loose to run helter skelter through the land of conspiracy. Even Sarah Pee jumped in with both feet (would we expect any less?) only to find she had landed in caribou boo boo.

Judging from the chorus, Mediaite has a large contingent of “Birthers Gone Wild”. This issue has some legs, and for Democrats, them is some fine looking stems.

  • TeaPartyPatriot

As long as THE HAIR keeps up the non-stop pit-bull attacks on everything obozo, I say let him do it. BUT – no rational person should jump from liking his (very appropriate and accurate) obozo bashing to actually supporting this self-serving, evil, duplicitous, manipulative, ostentatious, arrogant, narcissistic, lying, avaricious chameleon, who is as UNFIT for ANY PUBLIC OFFICE as “You Lie!” hussein.

Dear, Barry has steadfastly REFUSED to give a plan for the economy as has he refused to produce his BC!

And welcome to the Repug bubble that is a world of foreclosed houses, shuttered stores, and 50-year-old middle managers who are flipping hamburgers & feeling lucky to do it.

    LOL

Son, that’s what Barry gave us.

Other Barry gifts from 2009 and 2011?

Record# of jobs lost in 2009
    Record# of foreclosures in 2010
Record# of people living below the poverty level in 2010
Record # of people on Welfare in 2010
    Record deficit in 2010
    Record debt in 2010
    Record deficit in 2011
    Record debt in 2011

Son, remember when Barry said “Change you can believe in?”

Well that change he was talking about is the change you have in your pocket.

This is so funny; Barry has been in office for 2.25 years and the Dims controlled Congress from 2007- 2010 and STILL it is the Repubs’ fault!

    LOL

Trump is one of the few politicians I’ve ever heard who has his ear to the ground and knows what is going on at the street level. He is absolutely right yet again – that Bush/Rove and the dreaded neo-cons most definitely gave us Obama. Bush made all Southerners, Texans and white men for that matter, look bad. Bush did give us some good picks for the Supreme Ct. so I will give him that. It’s very obvious that Bush began our descent into insolvency and Obama is just carrying on where he left off. Trump for president, Romney 2nd choice.

Yeah, so far he has given him money and voted for him, plus endorsed single payer health care. Damn, there are dumb people in the party.

LOL Indeed, the only thing proven is that conservatives can be made fools of over a non-issue. But it’s all good. The Dims love a good laugh at the Repug’s expense.

This is just Trump desperately trying to be the Rodeo Clown. He just wants to be loved.

Can’t wait for the Repugnant Convention in Tampa.
Palin, Trump and Bachmann, all on one stage.
For intro music, Carly Simon’s “Send in the Clowns.”
Who says the right doesn’t have a sense of humor?
It takes a good sense of humor to be laughed at by an entire country.
Unless, maybe they don’t get the joke?

I will give Trump credit for saying things that are connecting with a lot of disgruntled Americans. Not that it is that difficult. The people in charge have been doing such a rotten job for so many years it is easy to find popular topics. His response to Rove will likely strike a chord with anyone who has the ability to look outside of the narrow viewpoints of the Democrat/Republican parties. Obama waltzed into the White House because of Bush, Cheney and Rove and Obama is doing just as poorly as they did. Trump counter-punches and wins the round. This is the sad state of politics in America. A clown like Trump can actually look good when compared to this sorry group of presidential candidates. Imagine if a real statesman with ethics could afford to run…oh, forget it, that’s never going to happen.
