Ed Schultz’s Advice to Obama: ‘Bring it from Your Loins!’

Remember Chris Matthews getting the tingle up the leg? Well, one of his MSNBC colleagues managed to construct an even more awkward line about the President of the United States today with an extremely weird line he used in offering advice to President Obama on how he can help win the midterms in the fall.

Ed Schultz gave some advice to Obama on the midterms and how he should ignore the Republicans. Most of it was fairly standard, with Schultz saying the GOP has a singleminded obsession with power and that Obama should be going on the road to “tell the truth.”

But it got weird when Schultz proceeded to say this: “Mr. President, go on the road. Bring it from your loins the way you did to get re-elected, the way it was described by Axelrod.”

Yeah, in case you’re wondering, Schultz was referencing that time Axelrod said Obama’s final 2012 push was “coming from his loins.”

Could we just agree on a moratorium on any mentions of presidential loins in the future? Please?
