“When it comes to establishing your world view, I was curioous, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this, to stay informed, to understand world issues,”
PALIN:
“I’ve read most of them, with a great appreciation for the press, for the media, (something incoherent)”
COURIC:
“I mean specifically, what do you read”
PALIN:
“Ummmm, ahhhh, all of them, any of them, that ahhh have been in front of me for all these years,”
COURIC:
“All of them?”
PALIN:
“I have a vast variety of sources, where we get our news, Alaska isn’t a foreign country like its been suggested where you go ‘wow how do you keep in touch with the rest of what Washington DC may be doing when you look up at Alaska, beleive me Alaska is the microcosm of the world.”

There was a time in this country that being that dumb was embarrassing. Palin is proof that we have moved to a point where its celebrated not to be intelligent or well-educated. While this was a clue a her ignorance, her bold stupidity was revealed when she mouthed off about the supreme court and then couldn’t name one case she disagreed with them on.

Listen, I understand you may be working with a box of rocks, but, the leaders of our country need more than stones up there. This use to be the best country on the planet, thanks the Palins, Becks, Hannitys and Limbaughs we have fallen to 16th. However, that’s just fine with neocons as long as they can field a big army.

Bill Adkins says….but I’m betting Couric knows more about Alaska than Palin does.

If the interview would be anything like the one done before the election, important issues and information about Alaska wouldn’t need to be addressed. What the people “read” there seems to be the most pressing.

Don’t really know why Couric would be asked questions about Alaska and that would make it ‘even’ somehow in Palin’s miniscule mind — but I’m betting Couric knows more about Alaska than Palin does.

The cute, perky, fluffy and ridiculous, Couric sure tried hard, to impugn Alaska’s Governor.

Palin interviewing Couric would be interesting, but highly unlikely. Couric wouldn’t have the courage, for fear her toilet would be flushed by Palin.

The great Alaska dodge again, Sarah? Where did Katie ever impugn anything about Alaska? Nowhere.

She asked if you read anything; the unreported preface of the question being where your foreign policy perspective/knowledge came from. Your non answer told America everything we needed to know about how close your finger would or should ever get to the nuclear button.

I'd agree that it'd make for an interesting @KatieCouric and it would certainly draw big numbers to the webcast, especially among those not likely to view it otherwise, but I wouldn't look for it to happen because it'd be bad precedent. Imagine, if everyone who has an issue with their CBS coverage wanted to turn the table. There's no way they could let it continue and it could lead to a lot of Porter Barry/Bill Moyers-like exchanges.
