Fox News Interviews Protester About Pelosi “Thugs” Visiting Him “In The Middle Of The Night”
Fox News had one of the most well-recognized town hall protesters on this morning for a lengthy interview, and he had some interesting theories when he made his TV debut (he followed our steps to a T).
Megyn Kelly conducted the interview with Mike Sola (made famous for this outburst), and Sola described how he is ready to use force to stop the “thugs” from visiting him in the “middle of the night.” Really.
After Kelly brought up Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer‘s USA Today op-ed, Sola addressed the politicians directly. “Your thugs already know where we live, we had a visit from them, in the middle of the night,” said Sola.
When Kelly followed up, Sola said, “After the incident was aired on television, we had a visit that night, a message was sent from my family.” But Sola is ready for these thugs next time: “I will use every means available, lethal force if necessary to protect Scott and my wife.”
There was no effort by Kelly to challenge any of this. For a supposed “news” segment, like most recent segments about the town hall meetings on Fox News during “news” hours, it was decidedly non-”fair and balanced.”
Isn’t there a way to challenge the tone these protesters take without jumping to the lefty conclusion that they’re plants?
