Fox News’ Mike Tobin Shares Details Of ‘Unwanted Touching’ By Wisconsin Protesters

Video

Fox News reporter Mike Tobin continues to report from Wisconsin, the site of the “unwanted touching” he received yesterday from an angry protester upset with Fox News. Megyn Kelly asked Tobin for an update, as a more peaceful protester held up a “Fake News” sign over Tobin’s shoulder in the background.

Tobin reports on the dwindling amount of protesters remaining at the Capitol building and clarifies some details about his incident yesterday saying, “I got punched in the arm, it didn’t even leave a bruise. I don’t want to make too big a deal about it, but it did cross the line.” Tobin appeared frustrated that he’s been unable to get through most of his live shots without some form of heckling, yet now with a calmer scene, it looks as if the worst is behind him.

Right. You don’t want to make too much of it, but you yap about it endlessly.

And, if we’re not to believe the African American Congressmen who allege they were spat upon by the Tea Partiers because there is not photographic evidence, why should we believe you? After all, they are elected officials who took an oath of office, and you are a yellow journalist. After all, they didn’t have their own personal photographer. You did. After all, doesn’t it seem a bit odd that the camera went off just before your “unwanted touching”. After all, doesn’t FOX “News” lie?

Posting in a soon-to-be epic thread.

I think by the time we’re done we’ll have discussed:

    1) The reliability (or unreliability) of Fox News.

    2) The relative attractiveness of Megyn Kelley compared with other news anchors.

    3) Comparing and contrasting the protestors in the Egypt with those in Wisconsin (spoiler alert: conservatives don’t like either, liberals like both. Unless of course we replace Egypt with Libya in which case conservatives like the former but not the latter, and vice versa for liberals).

    4) Many jokes about good touch/bad touch.

You don’t think that harassing a reporter and preventing him from doing his job is a big deal? He’s not complaining about the hit hurting just that it happened along with the rest of the harassment. We all watched the film. One thing I can’t figure out is why the woman behind him was ashamed of her sign? It was her turn to take it up a notch with her message and she dodged it.

Can you imagine the outrage if a tea party protester had punched a reporter in the arm? And implying that it doesn’t count if it didn’t leave a mark is just wrong. We have laws against assault and battery for a reason, there is no requirement of physical injury. Whoever punched him will just keep on hitting people, so long as he knows he can get away with it.

@Ajolily, “He’s not complaining about the hit hurting just that it happened along with the rest of the harassment.”

I am not surprised at the lack of civility by the left. I watched it happen and this desperate bunch was not only disrespectful, but childish. If the Tea Party had done half of what these kooks are doing CNN and MSNBC would be talking about it ad nauseam and claiming that they were trying to censor their reporting, but since it is Fox, they say nothing.

Tobin downplayed his “battery”, unlike Anderson Cooper who complained to Jon Stewart that he still had a “headache” three weeks after his “pummeling” in Egypt. However, it didn’t keep him from partying with the Hollyweird bunch all weekend.

Dear Citizens of The Real Royal Kingdom:

Today you write proud history. Today you lift our hearts and we will celebrate with you. Today, we, are all Kingdomians.

We are happy to witness the fire of freedom being lit in The Real Royal Kingdom. This is another great victory in the lengthy struggle against the oppressive regimes and dictatorships that have plagued humanity for centuries.
You have successfully embraced freedom and the right to determine your own destiny. We have been standing with you, following every minute of your struggle. You have rightfully commandeered a page in history. Your achievement is an example to be heralded throughout the ages. Future generations will thank you. Your peaceful protest never gave way to violence. You did not succumb to coercion or manipulation. You are truly proof positive that the will of the people is supreme.

As you demand your freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, freedom of information, and realise the transparency of your government, be vigilant, and protect the freedoms you have fought so hard to earn.
People of Egypt, you have endured the atrocities that have been ordered against you by The Real Royal King. You have eradicated all obstacles that have been placed in your path to halt the conquest for democracy and freedom. You overcame the fear that held you down for decades, and showed the world the power that people possess when they overlook their differences and unite under one cause.

Know that we support you. Know that you are not alone.

We whole-heartedly applaud those who spoke out in the face of adversity and refused to be silenced. We praise the courageous journalists, online organizers, and the citizen reporters who kept the world up-to-date. We will remember those who lost their lives and spilled their blood as they demanded their freedom.

A message to all who would deny the people their freedoms:
Dictators are falling like dominoes; the people will win. The people have shown once again that their voice cannot and will not be silenced. This movement is unstoppable. Anonymous, and the will of the people, will live on and continue to grow. Choose your next move carefully.
This battle has been won, but the fight for freedom goes on.

    We are Anonymous.
    We are Legion.
    We do not forgive.
    We do not forget.

if they were so desperate, why did Tobin say there wasn’t a bruise and he wasn’t hurt? It happened while he was live on the air and the image cut to inside the capital because of the signs being shoved in Tobin’s face. He was overheard LIVE saying off camera that he had just been punched in the arm.

He didn’t make a big deal about it, he just stated the fact. And you’re right, it wasn’t caught on camera – but neither was Cooper’s *beat down* – and there was even video of the supposed incident. So, who hyped what story, there?

Tell me again how the CEO’s are paying the public union employees salary packages. No its the tax payers. You think they are greedy? They pay better than half their health care and pensions. They now make less than the public sector job for job and that is if they have a job at all. CEO’s don’t even have a part in this issue. Public unions have been sucking us dry for years. A unionized well fed public employee, a struggling tax payer, and a fat cat Union boss are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table there is a plate with 300 cookies on it provided by the tax payer. The Union boss reaches across and takes all 300 cookies and gives 50 to the unionized public employee, he then tells the employee that the tax payer has not been paying him enough and they have to strike not caring a wit that the tax payer has informed them both that he will have to let a large amount of the well fed public employees go to become struggling unemployed and underfed because there are no more cookies to be had. If they win employees are fired but he still has his job. If they lose the employees will pay a fairer share of the health cares and pension cost but they will all still be working. The state will not go broke. The union boss however losses some funds and perhaps his job. Poor union boss has plenty in the bank and will move on to another mark.

That’s due to a little practice called predatory lending which has been cited as one of the causes of the housing crisis. people have actually come out and testified that such loans were marketed to low income people. NONE OF THE VIOLENCE AND INSULTS BY THE UNIONISTA GOONS IS BEING REPORTED IN THE LAMESTREAM SOCIALIST MEDIA! Here’s why:

Nov 2012 was a wake-up call to the “Corrupt B-tards” of the lamestream socialist media. They realized then that the American voters were no longer swallowing their lies, distortions, fact-hiding, half-truths and shameless proselytizing for them to idolize the lunatic-left Messiah and his (and their) near endless misrepresentations about his beliefs and positions.

Never forget that “You Lie!” hussein is nothing more than an artificial creation of the lunatic-left socialist media with no more substance or depth than a Daffy Duck cartoon. Wherever there are no mirrors, no cameras and especially no teleprompters (heavy drug use significantly impairs short-term memory), hussein vanishes.

So to make sure that the voters don’t stray off the lunatic plantation in 2012, they will redouble their assault on the truth, the facts and – most of all – reality, to fool the voters back to the brain-washed days of the 2008 campaign when they had them convinced that “hopey-changey” bs would save us all. (Reality: “hope-changey” is actually the lunatic-left “Road-to-Hell”.)

The lunatic-left socialist media has no choice but to continue to try to prop-up their shallow, profane, arrogant, platitude-spouting, inexperienced, Marxist, drug-addicted, smug, elitist, narcissistic, pompous, flip-flopping, racist, anti-Semitic gas-bag who is so mentally deficient from extensive drug use he even has to plagiarize his hollow platitudes, who hijacked the nomination with fewer votes than Hillary received, and who stole the election with extensive ACORN fraud.

They have nothing else to offer.

Yes. First, I wasn’t blaming the poor. Second it was the Republicans who tried to have this practice stopped and the democrats, Barney Frank, who protected them. That was my point. People want to align all big business with conservatives and republicans and all unions with liberals and democrats. Sorry Big business and Unions buy off whoever they can from both sides and most politicians are corrupt. In this case the poor people who were targeted were just as much victims as the entire country turned out to be.

Fannie and Freddie own or guarantee half of America’s mortgages. Ain’t nobody went out on a limb like them. And that limb broke a few years back, which is why they’re in receivership until they figure out a way to make us eat the trillions they’re underwater.

That doesn’t have anything to do with who was buying subprime loans and when they were doing it. During the height of the mortgage boom the private sector was vastly outpacing the Feds in purchased subprime and alt-a loans.

Wrong. How HUD Mortgage Policy Fed The Crisis

In 2004, as regulators warned that subprime lenders were saddling borrowers with mortgages they could not afford, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development helped fuel more of that risky lending.

Eager to put more low-income and minority families into their own homes, the agency required that two government-chartered mortgage finance firms purchase far more “affordable” loans made to these borrowers. HUD stuck with an outdated policy that allowed Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to count billions of dollars they invested in subprime loans as a public good that would foster affordable housing.

That’s a good read that does nothing to refute what I’m saying. I have no reservations with saying Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae share blame for the credit crisis. They opened the door for it, and they tried to get rich too. I’m saying that the primary villains are Dick Fuld, Lloyd Blankfein, Ed Liddy, and so forth are the biggest problem. Everyone is eager to blame home owners who were hustled while excusing billionaires. From your provided link:

“For Wall Street, high profits could be made from securities backed by subprime loans. Fannie and Freddie targeted the least-risky loans. Still, their purchases provided more cash for a larger subprime market.

Really? I watched the clip there was no visual just an “Owww! My arm! Mommy!” For all we know, it’s another “act by Faux Newz” – they’re so good at making up stories.

“I don’t want to make a big deal about it.” That should be proof that Fox News peddles lies right there.

    • Scott Walker may end his career with this one.
Gov. Scott Walker is playing with fire and may end up in jail for collusion with the Koch brother and/or other private business entities in relation to trying to kill the Labor Unions and insert private business employees mixed into the State Government jobs with the intentions of beating down the labor wages and benefits while at the same time bringing in private worker to do the work of union help. This is an unnecessary unfair sabotage of worker livelihoods being perpetrated by this selfish Governor to appease private business and possibly receiving perks for himself at a later date. At the least it is using collusion with probably special favors to the Governor to help private business unfairly route our State worker and satisfy the desires of their private business by allowing private businesses to fill those job vacancies. At the least it is unethical, un-American, greedy and ruthless and possibly criminal. I hope it is criminal. This Governor should be fired.

For the love of god, who in their right mind would want to touch Mike Tobin? Oh, and they didn’t leave a bruise and they didn’t catch it on any camera. The boy who cried wolf continues his lie much to the delight of the gullible Faux News audience.
