Not only did Anderson lose to two repeats, his numbers were lower than Campbell Brown's in total viewers, before you know it he will be down to "Ed Show" numbers! I am convinced that Anderson's "tea bag" comment has something to do with this. It is one thing to be biased, which Anderson has demonstrated on a regular basis, but throwing insulting vulgar comments at hard working average Americans is quite another thing. Even "demo" people like myself who do not totally agree with the protesters look down on that sort of thing. I think Anderson will have the stench of "tea bags" around his neck for a long time to come.

Most people know what they are getting with the majority of programming on FNC, but I think they thought they were getting objective reporting from Anderson and have been disappointed by his recent antics. As bad as his ratings are they could be worse. I would be interested to see how he would do against all live programming instead of repeats. I doubt Jon Klein has the balls to put Anderson's popularity to a real test.

I suppose anything is possible, but I doubt even another "Katrina" could totally resurrect Anderson's reputation. It is a shame that he threw it away for a cheap Kathy Griffin type joke. I thought he had more class than that.

Of course he always has "Regis and Kelly" to fall back on.

Shep's numbers are impressive! He is one of the few truly objective journalists left on TV.
