Yet both of them argue day and night constantly for Republican policy positions, bash Democrats, constantly denigrate the word "liberal" and a heavy majority of their guests are conservatives and Republicans there to reaffirm their conservative beliefs. Believing somehow that their lack of self-identified party identification establishes more legitimacy to their words is complete rubbish. It's obvious from watching a single minute of their shows that they're Republicans and for Republicans. We only have two parties in America. It looks like his big bulging biceps paid off! It wasn't a bad show, but I did not see the point of having two segments on Jaycee Dugard, one would have been sufficient. Anderson should have spent more time on stories about the Katrina victims and the rebuilding of the city. He said he had planned to stay the weekend, but unfortunately, CNN called him back for the Kennedy funeral. How many people did they really need to cover it? Not a good decision. Because he does it in a seemingly lighthearted and not mean spirited way, Beck can get away with saying a lot more than others like Olbermann who come off as angry and miserable. He can appear clownish on occasion, but it doesn't seem to lessen the impact of his words which makes him a bigger threat to the Obama administration, the Democrats, and his competition. Instead of "wee weeing" all over himself about whatever O'Reilly is doing (a la Olbermann) he is digging and researching and bringing to light all kinds of topics and info that everyone else is ignoring.
