ICU Patient Arrested for Selling Heroin from Hospital Room

A woman with a true hustler’s spirit was arrested in a Pennsylvania hospital after police caught her dealing heroin from her room in an intensive care unit.

Somehow, the unidentified woman managed to sneak 380 bags of heroin (worth $3,800) into her ICU room at the Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA., as well as $1420 in cash and multiple cellphones that kept ringing at odd hours. Hospital employees also began noticing other strange things, too, like how the woman had dozens of visitors who didn’t know her last name, and how they’d only visit for two minutes at a time.

After being notified by the hospital, the police conducted surveillance on the woman’s room and sent an informant in, who emerged later with 30 bags of heroin, as you do in a hospital.

We’re positive the woman just wanted to bring her own personal stash of opiates so the hospital wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of using their own. That’s just manners.
